re mr mittens aka agent doodle
mr. mittens, shard's cat, is actually a person! here's general info about him
called agent doodle, but his real name is divus theremin
a former goc agent! used to work in an assessment team under the physics division, where he was their magic guyTM (formally their analyst. i think. i wrote this before and i do not remember it being that)
not only turns into a cat but regularly stays as one! while for safety, it also makes shard's small site apartment feel a little more cozy. think of an animagus, something like that
as his name suggests, he loves to doodle! he generally uses art (doodling and drawing specifically) for magical purposes!
actually has rather extensive tattoos (esp on his back) that translate into his fur patterns as a cat. they're for luck, protection, and general magic stuff.
as a cat he's a little gray scottish fold
i wouldn't say he's prodigious at magic per se, but he is undoubtedly talented at it.
kind of a persona non grata in the goc after some... unfortunate events. magic isn't as foolproof as you think
currently being hunted down by the goc, but not so high a priority that it's too big a problem. he currently lives with shard for his own safety, and shard "adopted" him anyway
he's actually 25 but he kind of has the mental processing of a cat with memory issues given his use of magic
russian/french! spoke both languages fluently, but he's slowly forgetting in favor of english
studied applied math in icsut! though with a thaumatological/magical application because yk. icsut. goc. you get it. he prefers the math of it, and he did really well!
the son of the french branch's physics director. they do not talk as of late, for semi-obvious reason.
needs glasses, and walks/runs into walls semi-often, even as a cat.
actually needs reminders to eat, so best to eat With him so he doesn't forget about it
refers to himself in third person ("doodle") and mr shard is mr shard. there doesnt seem to be much explanation
has zero sense of time actually. like genuinely. there is only now, and the permanent things that are apart of his existing knowledge. hard to explain but hes just like that
