New Moon Mycology Summit is coming together nicely , we still have a few more classes to add to the schedule but overall we are very grateful for people feeling called to come join and help, to teach & to bring their skill sets on the for front of building this Summit from the ground up! We still have room and we are still in need of more volunteers for the Work Party! Sign up! Join the core organizing team, devoted teachers and fellow Myco-Lovers as we build & craft our landscape to the Summit! Four days of hands-on learning and fun!! What to expect: 4-6 hour work days yoga, hiking/foraging and other activities educational presentations movie & social time 12 delicious meals provided by Regional Food Not Bombs! Chapters Suggested $30-90 donation towards meals & other costs no one turned away for lack of funds Learn from a variety of educators on a number of topics. Classes offered by @mycologic & @charliceps of @mushluvmushrooms in Charlottesville, VIrgina, Hydrogeologist & the owner of an environmental consulting business, Integrity Environmental Restoration, Elizabeth Primus, founder & CEO of @mushroomrevival , Alex Dorr, & chief editor of the Boston Mycological Club Bulletin, an amateur mycologist Zaac Chaves, plus more to be announced! Come through & help with: we NEED to get done to reach the Summit : minor construction & plumbing vegetation management setting up composting areas constructing compost toilets & washing station set-up trail making & marking set up & clearing of land for workshop sites, camping & kitchen setting up greywater filtration systems setting up solar lighting sign making make seating & benches ALL HANDS ON DECK!!
