Ingredients: 3 cups of granulated sugar. 3/4 cup of unsalted butter. 2/3 cup of evaporated milk. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. 1 cup of caramel chips. 1 jar 7 ounces of marshmallow creme. 1 cup of chopped nuts optional.
Instructions: Set aside a 9x9-inch square baking dish that has been greased. Over medium-low heat, mix sugar, butter, and evaporated milk in a saucepan with a heavy bottom. Stir the mixture all the time until it starts to boil. Once it starts to boil, keep stirring it and let it boil for another four to five minutes, or until a candy thermometer reads 234F soft-ball stage. Take it off the heat and quickly mix in the marshmallow creme, vanilla extract, and caramel chips until the mixture is smooth. If you want, you can fold in chopped nuts. Put the mix into the baking dish that has been prepared and spread it out evenly. Let the caramel fudge cool down at room temperature for a few hours, or until it's set. Cut it into squares when it's done and enjoy!
