I did something I haven’t done in a long time: I built a computer from parts. It’s a miniITX chassis made from low/mid-priced parts in a minimalist case with a handle. I set it up first to test TrueNAS but then I’ll wipe it and set it up to be dual boot Windows 11 / Linux system. Assembled and running! Tested Monster Hunter World on highest settings. GPU temps stay between 60C-64C and CPU was actually on a steady 40C. There's 6 chassis fans, the CPU fan and I replaced the stock single fan GPU heatsink with a third party dual fan one. The case already came with 3 fans and I didn't want to waste the other fans on my old build so I put them to work. This is probably the quietest computer I've had. I don't think I have any plans to overclock it. I meant to really only update a few things on my old computer but ended up practically building a new one. I just wanted a newer processor and graphics card 😭 #DIYcomputer #builtnotbought #computers
