I am happy with that Cliffhanger, before throwing me rocks, hear me out:

According to Jroth, Hope is in her early 20s, that means that at least 20 years passed through between Octavia entering and getting out of the Anomaly. Hope loves Octavia, you could see how hurt she was by having to stab Octavia, so the anomaly could drag O back. 

This means that Octavia helped to raise Hope (she recognized Hope right away when they saw each other) and that she had 20 years with 2 people that love and accepted her no matter what, that it was the first time someone loved her like this since Lincoln. She is now at least a 43 years old woman, that raised Hope with Charmaine Diyoza, that has become her family, that is mature enough to understand her brother, to understand what happened with her in the ark and the whole trauma she went through. She is a full woman now, that now understand that she can’t just draw a sword and kill someone just because they are wrong. She knows who she is outside her relationship with Bellamy, cause she had 20 years without him, or without being defined as Bellamy’s sister. She is her own person, she got better from being suicidal and had time to mourn Lincoln.  And we are going to see all that during the S7. We are going to see her getting better. This is all I ever wanted to her, somewhere where she could learn all of this, without being constantly blamed for other’s mistakes, being treat like crap, or being belittle because “oh it’s just bellamy’s sister”. She had 20 years without those ungrateful bastards and she has two people that loves her and show everyone was wrong to judge her for the things she did in the past. 

At 43 years old, Octavia is the hero of her own story, and i love it whatever might come of season 7, cause no other character of the show will have what she has.
