This whole month I’ve been reliving the words I’d written on the idea of home on my other, new site. It’s made me wonder about my current state, literally. California is all I’ve ever known but is it the one place I truly belong? Seeing a ton of writing jobs that actually pay where Dizzy Bats call home in New York makes that tempting, but living in a shoebox does not. Sorry Big Apple, bed bugs are not worth your prices. music I’ve listened to this week: the orwells flatsound dizzy bats

disgraceland (album)- the orwells I really like their sound and the guitar damn that’s nice as hell. not usually a fan of Very Masculine voices and the lyrics suck but I still like them. good for walking to places and energetic background music purposes thanks andy

you said okay-flatsound he’s kinda screaming about losing faith and god and losing some girl. i need to hear someone losing it sometimes. i like analyzing flatsound but I could totally be wrong. I also have a whole essay on ‘I clung to you hoping we’d both drown’ (which is my favorite flatsound album) I’ll post it one day

girls(album)- dizzy bats remember when I decided I was going to ask out that girl and I just chose a random night to take her to see whoever was playing at the venue closest to us? the dizzy bats were playing that night at the electric maid and I ended up going to the show alone. but Girls is one of my favorite albums I think. ever.
