To get along with the tone of toon shader, I was asked to make the models bit stylized or cartoonish. Originally the DJ deck was made by my fellow 3D artist on the project. But due to unfortunate circumstances he had to leave the project. Hence it became my sole duty to work with the 3D models for the project. From creating, putting shaders on to remodeling them as per requirement of the project.

So I took the original model started remodeling it. As soon as I started remodeling the model, I found out that the model had no supporting edges so as I softened the model it kept on collapsing. Hence I started remodeling the DJ deck from the scratch. While I was modeling the DJ deck, my was aim was to create a cartoonish version. Hence I started to play around with the  proportions such as increasing the head size of the record player of the needle. One among many significant changes I made was increasing the size of the tops the stand. while decreasing size of the bottom of the stands making them quite disproportionate and cartoonish. The above pictures show the transition of the deck from the beginning till end.
