DJs: They like to "take you on a journey," or so the DJ cliche goes. But what kind of journey? It's a good question and one I suspect many DJs would struggle to articulately spell out to you. Perhaps then a picture would tell the story better. I forget when I first thought about it, but for a while its been in the back of my head that you could plot the different types of DJ sets as graphs, with x = time and y = intensity. So I finally got round to having a go on the tube the other day and got a little carried away. See what you think... did I miss any?
