My Baby Will, aka Monica, will delight us with her raw folk guitar and haunting voice will paint mundane scenes of her daily life and surrounding... “still dark the night still cold the ground”.
Similarly (I believe) Eyelashes, will play "primal" tunes sometime acoustic, sometime electric. Each of these seek to gently deconstruct song structure through collage-ing melodies and their particular use of words and chords.
An finally Head of Wantastiquet, the current project by Paul LaBrecque, a guy with a long series of collaborations and such... I shall now copy and paste from his resume... (about Head of Wantastiquet) The music is a thoroughly Modern/NOW take on the early minimalistexperiments of John Cale's Sun Blindness tapes, projected through a prism that refracts into hallucinatory images of Andrew Wyeth and Caspar Friedrich, the temporal finality of Altamont and Kenneth Anger, the bare feet grounded to the soil of Träd Gräs och Stenar, and the beautiful desolation of Doc Boggs' early 20th century Appalachian hollers. Right, excited as usual, although this time it’s a rather bitter sweet excitement as some crap has going down on Rigaer Strasse these days, meaning: police, violence and damage -which is no good!
Our friends and comrades at XB had their PA seized or simply stolen by the Berlin Police after some 48 hours of panic at the corned Liebigstr and Rigaerstr.

We, the Matinee Crew are willing to continue our recurrent Sunday events with the intent of showing that there is an active community that live, work, entertain, make and genuinely believe in what they are doing, and that certain brutalities should never be allowed, but condemned.

Attack to Rigaer94 and our house(*)
Communication from XB Liebig
On the evening of 01.13.2016 a massive contingent of several hundreds policeman stormed in the Rigaer94 located in our immediate neighborhood. We feel very connected to the inhabitants inside our this rebellious neighborhood, and we intend to stand for them.
The cops used violence to penetrate in the House, for their reprisal action. This was done without a warrant, and is in the context of the currently proclaimed danger area for the Friedrichshain neighborhood North. Several people were injured and not only the entrance and the stairwell, but also private rooms devastated or severely damaged. During this action, the area was around the Rigaer94 and the surroundings (Liebigstr the intersection. / Rigaerstr.) were sealed.
Therefore we could no longer move freely. Nevertheless to show solidarity with our neighbors and to make people aware of what is happening on the road (the action happens in the middle of the night, ndr), we put out loud music from our house. After several hours, the cops get a ladder and a lift to access to the 1st floor and break the balcony doors. They confiscated the sound system and all other jukeboxes that were in the apartment. They also prevented us to enter the apartment by slamming the doors and we refused to provide any testimony about their actions. Apparently that was all what they wanted with us. They made no move further into the house. After about half an hour of this organized attack was over. The only thing which the cops left behind was a scrap of paper with a note saying that we are probably not yet received a complaint.
We as Liebig 34 are in solidarity with the Riga 94 and all other fighting projects!
To the assumption of the Berlin policians and their their henchmen of calming down through such an action our rebellious North neighborhood, we can only reply: We will never give up!
We know that life is possible without State & Capital, and will do our utmost to achieve this life. United we stay!
Come to the demonstration at 6:02. by the North and Südkiez! Now more than ever!
(*) for who may not know: Rigaerstrasse is the core of the Berlin left wing/antifa/autonomous place in town. In the 80-90's most of places were squatted, but at the current time, they are house projects, Rigaer94 and XB Liebig are one of them. House project means, there is a community of people that lives there, developing projects, make political actions, and pay rent. This is just to make it clear, the people that lives there have the right to stay there.
