At that fleeting moment in the past, it was what Terra had longed for.

The emergence of feeling.

              “...” He watched her carefully, rapt in attention as she drew closer, taking his hand. For a moment, he could only look on— before his gaze would drop to their entwined grasp... A stark contrast between his scarred touch and her own, delicate counterpart. What did this mean, exactly? He was unsure, but it certainly stirred some sense of feeling within himself he had not felt for some time... A small reminder to the heart that still beat in his chest.

               “Quite poetic.” A vague twitch of an oh-so-rare smile graced his lips for a brief moment, his gaze softened as he regarded the woman. It only felt natural, right, to lift his hand and gently press a few strands of blonde hair from her features. “You’ve a way with words.”
