the way that mando took all the teasing, bullying, and threats about his religion and them taking his helmet off and silently just taking it, beyond stepping up when they did try to take his helmet off, and then taking no shit when the child became endangered by the group he was with, it truly shows how much he cares about that child im

when mando stumbled upon the droid preparing to kill the child and he was moments away from doing it before he killed the droid imagine the fear running through him at the thought of losing his son to a droid and how much that would have destroyed him after knowing how much droids have taken from him in the past and how much trauma and hatred he has for droids

when the child cooed on the comms in response to hearing mando's voice i cried

if disney tries to take mandos helmet off without his consent i will look away bc i respect him and love him so much

the way mando hovered over the child when he was dropped during coming out of hyperspace to protect him from anything falling on him is just too much to comprehend for my soft heart

thinking about how mando probably wasn't surprised about being double crossed and left behind in that cell and would maybe have accepted it and found a way out later before remembering that everyone else knew about the child and fighting his way out to get back to his son

the way mando adapts and learns from the people he encounters and probably never forgetting those who impacted his life in a positive way and the child seeing that in him and growing more resourceful and learning from him in this essay i will

i would just like to give mando a hug. to let him know he is a good man and a good father and let him know that he is good. he tries so hard and im so proud of him and i just would like to be able to tell him this.
