possibly something to do with you exploring class structure which has historically been a source of satisfying, complex and petty Drama (tm) in europe?

To be honest, I have thought of that. A lot of the novels I draw from are very English and very much about class which could be a little oblique for your average American...but on the other hand people are obsessed with Jane Austen on this side of the pond, so idk.

Hi, hopefully this isn't too weird but I saw recs in the reddit HPfic community and I realised you were the author of a fantastic fic I was starting to think I'd imagined (in loco) from my pre-ao3 days. You have such an amazing grasp of dialogue, character contradiction, well-roundedness and this ability to make me hear in the characters voice. Your Reg&theMWPP post in particular, for both he and Sirius, you've obviously great character insights in HP too and I just really appreciate that.

I just wanted to drop a line on behalf of my co-writer and I to say thank you for including ren in this. We're both coming back to fic writing after about a decade and feel a little wobbly at times, but from a writer who's fics I actually follow to read it and enjoy it, it means a lot.

It’s so confusing??? Like, what could possibly have appealed to them about this blog? Unless it’s a hate follow but like. Why would you hate follow someone? Why would you do that to yourself? How disappointing is your life that you do something like that?
