bro oh my god iida just loves all of his classmates so much and once all of class 1-a like consciously realize that, they have so much more fun w him bc they know he won’t ever actually be mad, just fondly exasperated
i think kami would be the one to start this bc he’s running from bakugou and there’s no place to really hide, so he just fuckin leaps at iida like “SAVE ME BAKUBRO’S GONNA FUCKIGN KILL ME”
and iida just reflexively catches him and kami is like awed for a whole ten seconds bc holy shit iida is ripped bro didn’t even STUMBLE

after kami, ashido probs gets in on it and i think this is where iida (first) drops his orange juice so fuckin rip. ashido makes it up to him later tho they make their own orange juice and its v good
after ashido hagakure gets in on it and like rip iida bc he couldnt even rlly see her so suddenly theres just this Weight in his arms and hagakure’s voice right next to his ear jkdjk. he almost drops her but he keeps her safe UGH we love him
but yea the rest of class 1-a just kinda follow after that,,,any chance it’s even mildly possible, one of iida’s classmates while take a running leap at him. iida was accepted his fate
but yea,,,izucrew would go NUTS w this information that iida loves to hold his friends,,,one time uraraka and midroiya run at him at the same time and iida panics for a whole three seconds before he catches BOTH OF THEM

after that it’s just a free for all Constantly class 1-a just lvoes their rep so much,,
baku is probs the last person to straight jump into iida’s arms but im thinkin during some training exercise w class 1-b, bakugou gets spooked by something and like propels himself in the air w his explosions and lands in iida’s arms. he doesnt let go until theyre done but then bakugou’s like “okay u can drop me four eyes” “ur the one that was holding on for so long bakugou-kun” “listen fuck-”
anyway nony this is a golden concept and it is what i am HERE FOR!!!! iida holds his friends......he keeps them safe and warm...thank you
