I'd love to see more of DK III X Candy with Anni and DK IV, they're adorable and cute! ^^

I finally did it, friends. I finally went silly enough to make that post I've been threatening to make for a while about Asari.

It's really more bullet points than anything, and most of it is inconsequential, but here you go:

In case you are new, this is the pink DKJr from Donkey Kong Junior Math that I turned into more of an actual character, if by way of an OC. I like to sometimes refer to as my Pink DKJr Apparition.

Younger than Junior by just under 3.5 years.

Big eater, loves food. His particular favorite is mango.

Usually can be found blepping when content. This is one of the few quirks that carried over from childhood. When food is involved, he will instead bounce his head as he eats.

Again on the subject of childhood quirks/traits, as a baby he seemed to have bad enough separation anxiety that either parent usually had to carry him. (Junior began the habit of holding his hand so he'd have at least some form of comfort when there wasn't a better option. As this clingy habit disappeared, Junior gradually had to relearn the concept of personal space.)

Didn't talk much as a child. While he eventually grew out of it, this is still a habit he falls into during upsetting situations.

Loves the ocean and the creatures that inhabit it. Crustaceans are where the wealth of his knowledge of sea creatures are, but by god will he talk your ear off about sharks too.

No one knows exactly what he was doing from right before DKC1 to right after DKC3, but he does resurface after Wrinkly's death after the events of DKC3. He goes off on his own right after this, joining an adventuring crew, but for the most part DK and Millie both know where he is from his letters to them.

During these adventuring days, he dons a rather familiar scarf. It is, in actuality, one of his mother's old shawls.

Despite the rift between him and Cranky that happens growing up, they do eventually repair it, allowing Asari to actually try to appreciate his father.

Not much of a leader, but will be a loyal follower unless given a good reason why he shouldn't be.

Replacement grandpa for DK's kids when they eventually come along.

Pretty chill, but can have an explosive temper when prompted. This may or may not be a trait inherited from his grandfather.

Despite their father's obvious preferences, Asari does not resent Junior and in fact the two maintain a close relationship all through the latter's life.
