۞⊱ Being around so many adults was exhausting, to tell the truth. Throughout the day, Monaka was one who spun lies to everyone she spoke to, and it became a second nature to her after doing it from the moment she could speak. However, constantly pretending to be sweet, an angelic child, it got tiresome and she felt herself starting to twitch with every adult coming up to her, offering her assistance crossing the road, getting home-- such displays were only to improve their self-image, right?
That's why she ended back at the park near the orphanage, stopping herself near a bench and breathing out. Thankfully, the park was pretty empty overall, just a few people walking through it now and then before promptly leaving just as quickly. But, one did not, and Monaka's gaze lingered on her. It was odd, but Monaka could not tell the age of the individual sitting on the bench opposite to the one she was near-- her expression was quite interesting though. It was almost like it was empty of feeling, much like the ones she revived from those who listened to her orders back home. Oh, it brought back memories.
❝You've been sitting there for a while, miss. Monaka would be very cold if she did. Aren't you worried about catching a cold?❞
