Good Magic, Bad Magic || CA Closed w/ checkfinisher
His magic was one thing which always concerned him. The nature of it was one born of evil--one born from monsters whose only desire was to bring about despair. That was his understanding of it. And yet, with each time he used it, Haruto couldn’t deny that the base for this spells seemed to change over time.
Something made of despair turning to hope…
He was tempted to see if he could converse with his inner dragon, asking to learn more about his magic’s history. Maybe Dragon could give him answers. But, in his attempts to call to the monster, nothing came. Was he perhaps asleep? Did the scientists send him into a slumber in order to keep Haruto from speaking to him?
Well, whatever was going on, he wasn’t going to get any answers from Dragon. He’d have to get them in his own way.
☞ “Transform.”
Positioning himself in what he’d hoped was a private area, he’d scan the Flame Ring over his Driver. Extending a hand outward to create a sigil, it would slid over his form, giving a warm feeling that coated his being like a second skin. Before long, his wizard form taken shape, and he was looking over it in its entirety.
☞ “Hmm… Can’t get a feeling on its nature, still. Maybe I should’ve called an expert on magic? Then again, no one in the city uses the same kind of magic as I do...”
He was a mage, sure, but he couldn't detect mana or magic of any sort unless it was a visible or tangible sort. He usually saved that kind of thing for Koyomi, given how she could sense Phantoms...
Let’s just hope no one sees him and gets the wrong idea. It’s not like his outfit makes him look really heroic. And if it gives off the despair-filled aura he hopes it doesn't...

♚ — The winds blew ominously that eve, carrying with them a relentless display of snow that only seemed to escalate slowly as time passed. But this was a trifling matter for the Witch of Miracles, whom expected an audience regardless of the weather. A tea party. A seemingly simple gesture, set within the confines of a tea shop she'd forcibly occupied during the earlier duration of her stay.
It was a quaint cafe from the exterior, a tea cup hanging cutely above the door with the shop's name 'Tee der Wunder' in cursive print below. Though, upon opening the door, when one might expect an adorable chime, they would hear an eerie laugh. What? Don't judge.
Upon entering, one would find the shop to be far more spacious than what was expected from the outdoors. A lobby would greet those entering, with a seating area in the back, and a flight of stairs that looked to go both up to a second floor and down to a basement, though they were made inaccessible at present. A kitchen rested in the back of the main floor, though... it was odd. It bore an uncanny resemblance to that of the Ushiromiya Main Building on Rokkenjima. In fact, despite the difference in size, the whole tea shop resembled that manor a great deal, dressed with decor very similar to that of the mansion itself. In the lobby, even a large replica of the painting of the Golden Witch, Beatrice, hung.
Either Bernkastel had gone to great lengths to replicate the atmosphere of that island, or her magic had done all the work for her.
It wasn't until the majority of the guests had gathered that Bernkastel showed herself, emerging from the kitchen and providing a polite curtsy.
It was undoubted that at least some among her guests doubted her intentions with this get together. Gathering all of the Pieces from Rokkenjima in one place, with few that could match her strength at present, sounded dangerous enough. They had reason to be wary. But whether or not this would take a turn for the dramatic would yet to be seen.
"Greetings, honored guests." Despite the gentle smile the Witch portrayed, her words carried a monotone that matched the dead look in her eyes. With a wave of her hand, tables filled the lobby, lined with food and drink while leaving room to mingle, and even dance if the classical music in the background suited their fancy.
"I'm glad you were all able to attend, regardless of whether or... personal grudges." And there were plenty of those between the occupants of this room, not just against herself. "I won't tie you up with meaningless chatter for now, however, feel free to mingle. This is a party, after all."
Just a few notes!
This is only for Umineko castmates! They're the only ones that received invitations, and the only ones that can enter.
The point of this isn't primarily for Bernkastel to be Bernkastel (though it will inevitably happen), but for everyone to mingle. This party would be best used to interact with each other, especially while it retains it's light-hearted theme.
That said, if you'd like to interact with Bernkastel, feel free to reply to this post or tag her in a starter (but cut all the rule stuff off your reblog!).
Not everyone tagged has to participate! I know some of you have multiple Umineko muses in the group, and that'd be a lot of effort.
The chances of Bernkastel being antagonistic later are high, but I'll be saving that for later on.
Last but not least, have fun! I really just wanted to do something for our cast as a whole, since I'm not only enamored with the source work, but also everyone's portrayals!

By now, things would've been settled into place for Tohya-- he should know which places to go, which places to avoid and whatnot. He should be able to be roughly familiar with the place, but at the same time, depersonalization slowly starts to set in, and it wasn't pretty.
And all Tohya wanted was to go home. He wouldn't call this kidnapping in a way; this was all for a scientific breakthrough that would happen in the near future, but when will the near future come? What is the near future for the scientists?
Looking beside him at the restaurant that he ate in would be a girl of average height-- from where he was sitting, of course-- with the most meticulously curled ringlets of hair. Was she looking for someone?
"Excuse me, miss, are you waiting for someone? Do take a seat."

۞⊱ Being around so many adults was exhausting, to tell the truth. Throughout the day, Monaka was one who spun lies to everyone she spoke to, and it became a second nature to her after doing it from the moment she could speak. However, constantly pretending to be sweet, an angelic child, it got tiresome and she felt herself starting to twitch with every adult coming up to her, offering her assistance crossing the road, getting home-- such displays were only to improve their self-image, right?
That's why she ended back at the park near the orphanage, stopping herself near a bench and breathing out. Thankfully, the park was pretty empty overall, just a few people walking through it now and then before promptly leaving just as quickly. But, one did not, and Monaka's gaze lingered on her. It was odd, but Monaka could not tell the age of the individual sitting on the bench opposite to the one she was near-- her expression was quite interesting though. It was almost like it was empty of feeling, much like the ones she revived from those who listened to her orders back home. Oh, it brought back memories.
❝You've been sitting there for a while, miss. Monaka would be very cold if she did. Aren't you worried about catching a cold?❞

If Natalia had to decide what her best quality is, she had to say it'd her kindness. She always did enjoy helping people because when she is able to see their smile, it made her smile. Honestly, making people happy or just giving them a hand felt fulfilling to her and that's why she didn't hesitate in helping people here.
Which is the reason for her going straight to the young looking girl when she spotted her. Maybe it would be rude to just ask her questions, she could have been a resident here for quite a while after all, but surely just seeing wouldn't be too bad... would it?
"Excuse me, would it be alright to ask how old you are? I hope my question doesn't offend you."
Because that would be awful.
