DLinktober Prompt 20: Fire

@changeling-rin I'm very sorry, but I specifically waited for you to catch up first to post again, and I just so happened to be up at the same time, so... MORE PROMPTS! The temple needed to burn, Heretic decided. He went into this graveyard temple to see what was up, only to rush back out and look at Kvatch, Dovah, and the rest of the Chain. "Burn it." Doomguy raised an eyebrow behind his helmet. "Why?" Heretic looked straight at Doomguy, and said three words. "Redead. Spawning. Grounds." The Links all looked at each other, and Sixes was the first to say it. "I've got Thump-thump ready to go." "I'll summon some fireballs." "Yeah, burn it it hellfire, that's what it deserves." "I'll bring the holy water." Later, the Links all had a cookout, as they listened to the cathodic screams of the burning monstrosities cry out into the night.

Day 1 of Dimensional Link-tober by @changeling-rin!

I caught up on Ectober 2020, so I have time to start another one something-tober! XD

So explanation: I saw changeling-rin drawing of day one - three goddesses, because of course their the creation. I didn't want to draw the same, so I though 'what else can be the creation?'. Aaaand I landed on triforce.

Basically Triforce was created by Goddesses, then they dumped it onto Hylia to guard it and left.

I think of it as a symbol because: a) if it gets in evil hands, the world get destroyed, b) if it stay in good hands, nothing practically change but the world is in harmony and c) Lorule - just look what happened to it, it got destroyed because Triforce got destroyed.

I hope I didn't mess up the history oops.

The Extended Chain

@changeling-rin Oh, god, I forgot that you've haven't met everyone just yet. So, for DLinktober, here's all my OC Links! Doomguy: This Link was inspired by a joke theory that Doomguy was just another version of Link. The dad/grandpa of the group, he's a soldier by trade, a god by design, and a hero through and through. Outlaw: A wild west inspired Link, he fights a regime where Ganon rules with an iron fist. He uses mostly old guns, and is an older brother figure to many of the younger Links. Heretic: A half-dragon by birth, he lives in a version of Hyrule where Ganon started a church that now rules the kingdom with religious doctrine and terrorist actions. Branded a heretic for praticing magic without the church, he fights against their regime and doctrine with draconic fury... Sixes: A Link that traveled to the Fallout universe due to magic, he was raised by a scientist in Vault 101, before he was kicked out and earned his nickname in a poker game. He later became a Courier, making the city of New Vegas independent through his actions. Kvatch: A version of Ocarina/Mask that went through MM and OoT, he soon found himself in the country of Cyrodiil in the Nirnic Empire, he soon found himself fighting against the Cult of the New Dawn, a cult that worshipped the Daedric King of Destruction, and he saved the world. Now he must stop Ganon once again, who has the backing of the same Daedric Prince, and now has the backing of the Empire. Is called such because his title in the Empire is The Hero of Kvatch. Spook: This ones' the weirdest of the Chain, as he is a Link raised by the Addams Family. Yes, The Creepyest, Kookiest family on Earth somehow found their way into Hyrule as well. Being raised by such a family, he has no fear of the macabre or the darkest parts of Hyrule. He comes with a dog shade, too. He calls the dog Baskerville. Hunter: Another alt of Ocarina, but this time he's also a Belmont! Yes, his version of Ganondorf is also Dracula! Yes, he has Vampire Hunter along with the Master Sword. No, he's not a healer, go to Kvatch if you got bit by Ghirahim, Lore, we don't need a vampire in our group. Rockstar: Yeah, this guy's just a bard. Specifically, he's a bard that uses his music as magical attacks. He was inspired by the games No Straight Roads and Brutal Legend, and it shows. He often can just summon speakers out of thin air to amplify his attacks. Sprout: An alternate of Speck, this time, he has the same style of fighting and abilities, with one key difference: Pikmin. Yes, he got training from the Minish version of Captain Olimar, and now uses Pikmin as a part of his fighting style. Zookeeper: This guy's just a Hylian Stever Irwin. He has pets from all over the globe, and fights and hunts alongside them. He also has druidic magic, making it so that he can summon these animals where-ever he wants. I make no apologies if they somehow make it to the Hylian Jurassic Era.

For DLinktober!

I decided "Well, with how many fan Links I have, why not do some drabbles with them and The Chain?" So, @changeling-rin, I hope you're watching! Warning: Blood, Gore, and other such things. For prompt 7 (Red), because I take them as suggestions, not rules. The Doom Slayer always disliked the color red. It reminded him of so much loss, so much anger, so much... evil. It was the color of blood, of gore, of Hell. And he was often covered in it. Not that it couldn't be beautiful, because roses and other flowers and creatures were red, after all, but... it always reminded him of his crusade, his endless quest, covered in red, red, red- He breathed, calming himself. It wouldn't do to have an attack while his young charges were around... it wouldn't do to scare them. He sighed, taking off his helm. "... Why does it always seem easier to get angry than to stay calm?" He muttered, clenching his fists as he took off his armor. A knock at the door, and he looked over. "Come in." A sight of red, and one of the youngest of his charges, Red, pokes his head in. "Mr. Doomguy? Dinner's ready, if you want it." He muttered, giving a nervous smile. After all, it's not everyday that a giant of a man saves your older brother by tearing a Bokoblin in half with his bare hands. Doomguy smiled, nodding. "I'll be there in a minute, Red. Tell Rune I'm washing up." 'So young, and yet he's seen so much. And he keeps smiling...'

"Red isn't all bad, I suppose." He said, getting out into the room of the House where they were all having dinner.

DLinktober Prompt 30: Deity

@changeling-rin Welp. It's almost done.

Long, long ago, when the world was newly made, there existed Gods and Demons, there in Hyrule. But in the world itself, there were allies, Gods that gave of themselves to create Nirn, of which the Golden Trio where a part of. Akatosh, Lord of Dragons and Time, gave the Hylians time magic, so that they may make the most of their time on Nirn. Arkay gave them the knowledge of life and death, so that they could heal and make sure that they only left when their time came. Dibella, Goddess of Beauty and Love, gave the Hylians blessings of romance, to give them the beautiful feelings of love. Some would not feel such feelings, but that was their choice. Kyraneth, Goddess of the Wilds, populated the forests and plains that Farore had made, so that Men would never go hungry. Julianos, god of magic and logic, gave Man, Hylian and Elf magicka, so that they could do great feats of power. Talos gave all that lived Law and Honor, so that they could recognize evil when it was seen. The Fierce Deity, whose name had been lost to time, taught them War and Combat, so that they may defend themselves. Zenithar gave those that lived the concept of trade and barter, so that they may resolve conflicts peacefully. Hylia and Mara gave the world compassion, so that they may work together and live in some semblance of harmony. Stenndar gave the world Mercy, so that those that fought would not wipe out all life. Lorkhan gave the world life, creating Man, Hylian, and Elf with the gift of self-awareness and sapience, so that they would live as more than just beasts. Farore gave the world Life and Courage, so that great heroes would rise to defeat the darkness Din gave the world Metal, Fire, and Power, to craft the weapons of War. Nayru gave the world Wisdom and Knowledge, so that they would learn and teach in kind. These are the gods of Nirn, the world of Hyrule and Tamriel, and they are all important.
