Book: Dracula: A Love Story

Alexandra, who prefers to be called Sandra, meets MC when she rushes to meet about paintings. Depending on the choices the player makes during the taxi scene, depends on how Sandra treats her during the next time they meet. Sandra mentions, later on, she hates being called by her full name because her father would call her it when he was angry. Depending on your previous choices she can come off as flirty and playful or jealous and slightly mean.

Interesting fact:

A girl from a small Romanian village, daughter of a miller and a housewife, Sandra has always been ruthless to herself when it came to her studies. It had proven fruitful. Numerous diplomas, praises from teachers and a prestigious foreign internship in her last university year. There, the talented and tenacious girl was also noticed. They decided not to let her go, and upon completion of the internship, she was offered a job. She stayed to the delight of her colleagues who already loved her for her light and cheerful disposition. But Sandra didn't feel proud. Somewhere deep inside her, a cold, distant voice still echoed, so similar to the voice of her father: "This is all meaningless, you've achieved nothing, Alexandra."

DLS characters as parents! (pt 3 Vlad)

Vlad: - extremely nervous at first but gets better at the whole parenting thing with laia by his side - one of the few people who can still look good while carrying a screaming crying baby - loves to do everything. literally wants to do everything and anything, doesn’t let laia lift even a finger - feels guilty about the discomfort laia felt for the last 3 months she was pregnant and never bothers her with anything - always remembers his time with mica, which makes him incredible protective of his child - won’t let them out of their sight at all, laia has to gently coax him into letting their toddler try to walk around a bit - always walking behind the baby ready to catch them if they fall - freaks out over any tiny indication of a sickness, rushes them to the doctor asap - he does however improve as the child grows up - loves and i mean like really really loves carrying his child around everywhere - will never put them down, always either strapped to his chest or back - ended up raising a mini laia which makes him love them even more - whenever he goes out, he will always make it a point to bring back freshly picked strawberries for his child - laia starts calling him vladdy and their recently talking baby accidentally catches on to it - laia finds it hilarious while vlad doesn’t know how to react to it - usually stoic and calm but melts at a single smile or the wrinkle of his child’s nose - they have vlad utterly and completely wrapped around their little finger - makes sure they always know that they are loved by giving them regular hugs - vlad is tall which results in his child constantly trying to climb him like a tree, always put a scowl on whenever that happens but secretly loves it - makes the worst and i mean the most unfunniest dad jokes but laia and their child loves it anyways cause at least he’s trying - always insists that sleepovers happen at their house, never lets his child go to others house for sleepovers - It's the one thing vlad will never budge on, laia used to bicker with him over it but slowly grew to understand and agree with his viewpoint - very very surprisingly the lesser strict parent of the two - he only gets really mad at his child if they are rude to laia and/or make her cry - gives them a long talk about how they should care more for their mother and makes them apologise immediately - also hates lies but he never blows his top over it because he knows the reasoning behind lies: fear and apprehension - he understands how his child feels, recognises how they feel and make them feel valid - makes them understand that no matter what, he will always be in their corner - gives them a huge bear hug after that - laia spots them and waddles over to join - never let them be around noe unsupervised until they were a teenager - not out of fear, vlad trusts noe but because of his obnoxious energy - noe + a vlad and laia child = definitive chaos - will march over to his kid’s school the moment the word ‘bully’ is uttered out of their mouth - gives the bully *that* dark stare and all’s solved

Vlad in season 1:

AITA for letting my intrusive thoughts win and whisking away the girl i’ve loved forever away to live in a castle together and let her restore art while I lie about my true identity even after multiple suspicious encounters.

Leo in season 1 I saw you🤨:

AITA for (unknowingly) leading on my crush’s teenaged sister because she rejected me for the guy who kinda lowkey kidnapped her.

Noe in season 1:

AITA for terrorising my best friend’s lifelong love, all her friends and also putting a spell over her teenage sister to make her fall in love with me because I was mad that he left me to get bitches in the other world.

True form.  Inspired by the last scene from DLS S3 ep 13 (Vlad x Laia)

Fresh red blood dripping down its claws and fangs.

A feral grin. No trace, no shadow of anything human in its eyes.

Only the endless darkness

Turning around it reached for her, clawed hands grasping at her delicate throat. She didn’t resist at first. Her mouth simply moved in a silent ‘no’, begging the universe to undo the horror that lay before her, pleading with it to bring back the man she loved. She looked into its face, into its eyes looking for a semblance of him but instead cold, hard eyes of a deranged monster stared back at her. Eyes devoid of emotion, razor focused, beholding only one goal; destruction. Still, she didn't give up hope and she was sure he was still in there he had to be. The beating heart that lay deep inside the monster’s chest did still belong to him.

Deciding it had had enough of the staring game, it slowly lifted her higher. Now she struggled, clawing at his hands, shouting at it to let her go this instant. Instead he tightened his hold on her throat, a sharp nail pressed against her neck like a dagger and all of a sudden she went limp. All her bravado gone, her anger sated. Leaving in its path a broken heart and a well of sadness where all the hopes and dreams she had for her and her love’s future, drowned.

The monster watched her, its eyebrows furrowed. Her sadness affected him, stabbed at his heart and for a moment, recognition flickered in its eyes. A flicker of him, a brief glance at the human it was before and then it was gone. Letting out a guttural roar of annoyance, it tossed her to the ground. It turned around to look at the figure that lay on the ground, her shoulders shaking, hands clutching at her throat as she mourned the love she lost. The assault in its chest started anew and it quickly averted its eyes, walking away in long strides.

She could feel the familiar pricking at the back of her eyes and sobs escaped her in seconds. Her tears however were not born out of fear from death, it sprang from the guilt she held in her heart. Guilt that she couldn't save the man she loved, guilt that he became the very monster he vowed to never become, guilt that perhaps it all started and ended this way because of her.

~ This update broke me, absolutely heartbroken which naturally inspired me to write again! Sorry I disappeared for a bit there😭 but I started uni and life got busy. BUT i’ve been trying to get back into writing and have bonus material for my love language and parent (series?) planned which I hope to get out soon! Really hope y'all like this because ive written after a long time and its very different from my usually work. <33

DLS characters as parents! (pt 4 Noe)

Noe:

- honestly never thought he would ever be a father

- fakes an air of ease around laia

- he’s actually shit scared-

- misses his parents a lot and wishes they could have seen him as a father

- but he knows internally that they’re both extremely proud of him :’)

- will hold his child in the strangest ways just to see them giggle

- this nearly gives laia a heart attack when she sees them

- but they both know that noe will never compromise his child’s safety

- loves calling his child offspring for some reason

- “LAIA OUR OFFSPRING IS CRYING” - noe

- will get into daily diaper changing fights with laia

- they both look to shove the baby into each other hands as soon as they get a whiff of a smelly diaper

- when that fails - they both get into elaborate rock, paper, scissors games that usually ends with noe losing

- laia claims she beat him using ‘psychology’ but it’s really just him purposely losing - he loves his wife

- when the baby cries at night it’s always noe, he never wakes up laia and lets her sleep

- somehow some sort of baby whisperer

- makes vlad come over every weekend because the baby needs ‘peaceful vibes’

- vlad agrees, it’s a noe + laia child, chaos reigns in that house

- as the child grows up, noe is more of a friend to them than a father

- imagine gilmore girls but with noe

- makes them cool tools and lets them tinker around his workspace

- teaches them to never be prejudiced to any group of beings - laia snorts at this remembering noe’s hate for humans

- that child is attached to noe by the hip literally will not let him go, follows him everywhere

- raises an extremely snarky and curious child

- noe himself is worse than a teenager so his child just skips that whole stage

- tells his kid to beat up any bully and to stand up for himself and his friends

- laia hates that and teaches them conflict resolution instead

- noe’s behind laia’s back rolling his eyes and yawning at her speech, thus effectively distracting the child and drawing laia’s ire

- very surprisingly the stricter parent if they do something really wrong

- will remind them how privileged they are to have the life they have and that they shouldn’t do anything wrong to throw it away

- always makes sure to organise monthly trips for his child with all his aunts and uncles ( aka leo, sandra and vlad)

- does not trust babysitters at all and will drag them everywhere

- loves giving them dating tips but freaks out when they get a partner

- usually ends with him silently sobbing about how they’re growing up too fast

- laia is torn between consoling him and laughing at him.

DLS characters and their love language! (pt 2 Sandra)

Sandra: quality time <3

- Loves to go on long walks and cycling trips with Laia

- Laia’s always lazy but will push herself out the door for Sandra

- Once they’re out Laia can’t help but marvel at how pretty Sandra looks in her sporty outfit - the two quickly start a game to see who can make the other blush the fastest

- They both win-

- Sandra’s lately always busy with her newfound supernatural abilities

- Laia can see how stressed Sandra is by the way her eyebrows are slightly knit together and her shoulders are stiff

- Laia’s wants nothing more than to relieve whatever invisible burden Sandra is constantly carrying around

- She takes one look around the park they’re at and spots the jackpot - couple bikes!

- Laia drags Sandra over and rents one for them

- Sandra can’t believe her eyes and almost bursts out laughing as they mount the bike - they both soon realise how silly it looks

- Nevertheless Sandra loves it, how can she not? It’s her two favourite things combined - cycling and spending time with her beloved

- They set off quickly admiring the sights and almost crushing a few poor ducks who came onto their path

- After the duck incident, Laia claims she’s scarred for life and drags Sandra off to a secluded spot under a tree for them to take a break and have a mini picnic

- Sandra set up most of the food but let Laia handle making the PB&Js - which is something Laia is very proud of btw

- After they eat, Laia can see Sandra stare into space again

- Not wanting to lose her girlfriend to the evil work stress demon again, Laia pulls Sandra down onto her lap - and starts stroking her hair

- This is Sandra’s personal little heaven, if she could freeze a moment in a little time capsule like Noe, she would definitely choose this moment

- Her girlfriend’s hands in her hair and the wide expanse of cloudy sky above their heads.

- Getting comfortable Sandra looks into Laia’s eyes and recounts how busy her weeks have been

- Laia listens attentively, never stopping her fingers even though they start to ache

- Sandra always had her sister there for her but for some reason she always felt different… almost alien at times.

- Sharing was a new and difficult concept but ever since she revealed her past as a cop to Laia, she felt different. She felt like she could tell Laia anything and she would listen.

- Truly listen, not just hear her but actually listen to her.

- The two spend the rest of the afternoon trading stories, making silly jokes and cloud gazing - their hands interlocked between their bodies.

- Sandra truly felt at peace, she felt light and happy. She felt loved. Most of all she could feel the soft palm of her love against her own and she knew she was exactly where she belonged.

DLS characters and their love language! (pt 1 Leo)

Leo: acts of service <3

- Due to usually being the one who takes care of others, he secretly loves being taken care of and likes to take a break.

- Laia gets all hyped up when she gets to take care of Leo.

- He lives for all the little moments he has with Laia

- Mainly because the earlier moments with her were filled with high stakes eventful days - and they could not enjoy a ‘normal’ start to their relationship, which leads to him enjoying the simpler side to relationships.

- Finds beauty in the most mundane activities.

- His favourite activity is doing the dishes with Laia - it’s simple and peaceful and he gets to hear his favourite thing in the world: Laia’s rambles

- Laia rambles on and on doing the dishes and gets all annoyed by her hair coming in her face, she attempts to push it away with her hand while hoping to avoid getting any soap on her face - can’t ask Leo for help because his hands are equally soapy

- She fails and gets soap on her nose

- But at that moment, she is the literal definition of perfection to Leo

- He washes his hands, wipes away the soap from Laia’s nose and gently takes her hair in his hands to tie it up.

- They go on regular grocery trips that usually consist of Laia wanting to fill the entire cart with all her cookies and chips - Leo limits her to one of each (they’re trying to be economical).

- She pouts and tempts him with his favourite snacks instead - he gives in because honestly how could he say no to that face.

- Laia always wants to hold all the bags because she wants to take care of him as much as she can.

- Ends up only being able to carry all of them halfway back home and then they split the bag between them instead.

- Laia makes it a priority to get Leo breakfast in bed as often as she can, usually the food is burned but she is making progress - Laia can’t cook even if her life depended on it.

- But he’s so touched by the effort, he makes sure to pepper her face with kisses every time - sometimes they end up getting ~carried away ~ and the food lays completely forgotten on the nightstand.

- Occasionally, Leo wakes up to the blaring loud fire alarm.

- Walks into the kitchen and the blissful sight of a guilty looking Laia standing over a blackened pan greets his sleep-filled eyes

- The kitchen is an absolute disaster, but it's his disaster and he wouldn’t want to have it any other way.
