After our four-day service learning activities has ended, I felt obliged to help knowing the needs of other people. Maybe it wouldn't be that same scale as what we did but in my own little way of thanking and giving.

Honestly, I can't promise to devote my time to social work given my schedule (juggling work and school) but I will participate and do my part whenever BTr offers and creates program or project that will benefit the society. 

Sometimes, we do have social works for employees but not on a regular basis and often national government initiated which is why I proposed in my CSR audit to BTr to come up with a regular program / social work wherein employees can also volunteer regularly and see the other side of work in our agency. And I think this is what's lacking in our agency. We have to increase our presence in the society (social services) because not everyone knows BTr exists and what it does to manage government's funds.

But as for me, I want to give myself "a tap on the shoulder" for pursuing MBA. It's been two years since this plan has been shoved in the shelf. Now I'm here and done with my first term! I survived, what a feat!!! =) Without the will and taking on the plan, I will not be introduced to the existence of CSR and experience service learning with officemates turned friends.

I only hope that I don't lose the hope, the will and most importantly the CASH... =)
