You need to talk with me about Michael! I don't care if he's from Supernatural or Dominion! I have a mighty need!

Oh yeah, okay, I can talk about Michael. Damn, I think about him most of my days, which is definitely unhealthy, but give me something more tangible. Haha, because right now all I could talk about to anyone willing to listen is how mad I am at DM!Michael, and how he treats Gabriel, and someone needs to tell me to chill the fuck out.

Right at the moment I’m convinced that Michael is the worst for the position of guiding the Chosen One. Hr even had been when he set out to find him, and I don’t see it changed. Michael could make him a good soldier, a good weapon probably, but not a whole human as he is simply terrible when it comes to feelings. (And isn’t the entire point of the Chosen One is to prove, as one human himself, that there is still hope in the race of Man?)

He has his moments of great and meaningful expressions, like in S01E03, and in the Darkness, but it is very obvious how that is pretty rare, and just as Alex said in that Darkness!Hallucination, it is not enough.

So Michael himself must know that it is not enough. (So why does he seem unchanged? Everyone else seemed changed after the Darkness, as if they had learnt from ther greatest fears and flaws... Ugh) It just wouldn’t do to keep all his emotions bottled up and reduced to miniscule flinches and tightenings of his features, because humans and the people around him aren’t trained to read that. And without emotions how does he want to train a Healer, a Saviour? That takes emotions, empathy, feelings, expressed, experienced, not just felt. That needs a Heart too.

That needs Gabriel, because he is the Heart to his family, to Michael too!

Who had pretty much stopped being sane and stable quite a while ago, but he broke when Michael left him in that bar.

So I wonder, if Michael had stayed with him, if he was willing to listen in depth to Gabriel’s troubles, I wonder if he could have convinced Gabriel to stand with him on the issue of the Chosen One (I’m kind of crossing the line of ignoring canon for a more Legion background here).

Which, with a great leap takes me to how Michael takes Gabriel’s love for him as granted. He doesn’t question it, it will always be his to bear and back him up whatever he does, because that’s Gabriel, right? But he is always in such a rush forward that he forgets to take a double look to the back, where he knows to have Gabriel, to check if he is okay, if he is suffering silently.

And this is why I MUST know the extent of their shared link, how much they can feel each other, because even if it once was very deep (like a one soul in two bodies kind of bond) than it had been severed long ago and they (Michael?) have just let is slip between them.

Yeah. I need Michael very much to get over his emotionally stunted self, which I bemoan constantly lately in my tags, and give back some love to Gabriel, because damn he needs it, and Michael has had enough example shown to know how to do it himself. I’m mad, okay?
