he didn’t even think about it when he saw this woman walking home alone at night and noticed these guys following her. his body moving before he even had the chance to think about it, next thing he knew he was on top of one of the bigger guys and punching him in the throat. the rest of the fight was basically a blur, faintly remembering that they were all a lot bigger then he was, almost twice his size! punching, kicking,yelling and a whole mess of other things went through his mind but he didn’t grow up in satellite and not learn a few things about how to fight.  now Yusei was a beaten and decently bloody mess as the woman that he had saved was pointing to a chair to tell him to sit. “look mam it’s no big deal i’ve been through worse believe me i can get this taken care of myself..”

It really did help that blister was so good with what he does, being able to make fake documents for both himself and Dark to be able to start over all the way back to yugi muto’s time. With the arc cradle crisis over and everyone going their own ways in life Yusei and Dark had a serious talk about their own future. Both of them agreed that it would be better for them to leave all of this behind them and start fresh, settle down to have a new life somewhere else. Of course this also meant that they wouldn’t be able to come back here again, this was a one-way trip so it was going to hurt for a while for the pair but when it was brought up to the rest of the group they were all supportive of them starting over.  After having one last get together before going their sperate ways, Yusei and dark had their things gathered up that they would need onto a new motorcycle that Jack and Crow worked together to make. Yusei could easily make one for Dark when they got set up there so it would be fine for now, having given Stardust to Akiza so that she could remember him and giving the remaining deck to crow. Yusei and dark had jack hold onto Yusei’s d-wheel for now and when Leo was old enough then it would go to him, royal blue eyes watching as everyone had given dark a hug and making the other promise to watch out for yusei in their place. After the final farewell the two got onto the motorcycle and took off towards their own future, Hearing the familiar cry of the crimson dragon and seeing the red glow come from Yusei’s arm for the final time with soft smiles on their faces. Now they were set up in the past with a decent apartment to themselves with a small shop they set up right next door to their home. Yusei had taken the garage for his mechanics and computer work while Dark took the rest for his woodworking and art work, the violet eyed man becoming very good at his work. Now they were out gathering more supplies to finish getting stocked up for their respective shops, Yusei not having much he needed since he kept on top of his inventory so he had a few bags while they were heading for the nearest art store for Dark’s supplies.

a whole week had passed since he had met mai and saved her from being mugged or possibly worse, his injuries having healed up and was feeling a lot better now but it honestly felt like he had known her for his whole life. something about the time they had spent together just made them click so well together, it just felt.. natural and right to be around her.  right now they were right outside her apartment, about to head inside after another day of just exploring and enjoying themselves when he turned to her to ask “do you... ever feel lonely? even if you are around other people?”

Yusei couldn’t believe that his friends went through all this trouble for him, feeling a wide smile come to his face. they had got him perfect documents set up, a brand new motorcycle made for where he was going and had all got him a final gift before he would be off. the twins got him a new duel disk, akiza getting him a new jacket with stardust on the back of it with the rest of it being a light blue. crow and jack’s gift being the new motorcycle they made together which surprised him how they managed to keep it from him this long and saiga had been the one to get all the documents he would need. Even Dark had gotten him a gift, having made him a retractable knife with the handle being shaped like stardust dragon but the blade was almost black to match his color,saying that this way he’d always have his dragon protecting him even if he wouldn’t have the card with him anymore.  this was the last time they would ever be seeing him after all, they knew that this would be his final chance to go back to see mai and each of them saw how attached he had become to her.  once he went there he couldn’t come back so they wanted to give him a proper send off and wish him the best now that their roles as signers were done and they were moving forward with their lives. yusei had already given stardust to crow and decided to leave his d-wheel here with dark since they had made him the new motorcycle, he wouldnt need those things anymore. plus it would make things easier for him to adjust to his new life that was waiting for him. he had so much that he wanted to say, to show how thankful he was but they all had stopped him, pulling him in for one more hug before he got ready to go. telling him to go and be happy while wishing him the best of luck.  After that yusei had gotten the gifts and the two bag that were packed onto the motorcycle and gave one final wave before taking off to his new life, feeling his mark glow and seeing that familiar bright red one last time. now here he was having got his new motorcycle parked and knocking on the door to mai’s apartment, already having the new jacket on him. “hey mai it’s me yusei you home?”

“mai you are not invisible or an afterthought especially to me, dont ever think that about yourself..” wrapping his arms around her to pull her in for a hug.

“bitch i hope the FUCK YOU DO. YOU’LL BE A DEAD SON OF A BITCH I TELL YOU THAT.” an infuriated Mai yelling at some asshole making whispers at yusei xD @ohmaiwhathavewedone

 yusei didn’t even hear the whispers that were being said to him by the stranger, he was focused in on the new space that he had found for him and mai and was working out the inner details for it. like how much to save up, then furniture and anything else they would need. thinking that maybe he could take them somewhere to show her the place he found and what she thought of it, it didn’t have a garage but it was still a really nice place and it had a big enough room that he could use for like a workshop so it still worked out in the end. “what’s going on mai what did the guy say about me? i wasn’t even listening to be honest..”
