With rehearsal done for the day, there was only a short window of opportunity to talk to Malia before the two of them went in different directions. For once she didn’t have any other activities to run to afterwards, so Devin nodded goodbye to Jordan and Logan and jogged to catch up to Malia before she got too far away. “Hey,” she greeted casually, wrestling her beanie down over her hair so she looked marginally less like she had just been dancing for an hour and a half. “Uh, you were pretty great today. I don’t think we’ve met, like, officially? I’m Devin.”
