DMD 2026 Drama Lineup Ranked on how excited I am / likely to watch it
*** Warning: this is my OPINION, none of this is against any of these shows / actors, I just tend to like some and not others because of multiple factors. ***
DOMUNDI
The Next Prince — I watched it so this is moreso my thoughts on the series: It was really well done! I love the royalty + Prince x bodyguard romance. Jimmyohm having the toxic love story, their dynamic was so interesting to watch. But what really got me is that all 4 royals (Khanin, Ramil, Calvin, and Ava) had different struggles, stories, and romances. It was so much fun to watch them work together and fight each other.
Khemjira — 9/10: Okay, so technically I started this one, but I haven’t had the chance to fully finish episode 1, and now I forget so I have to rewatch it. But I love the concept, shaman and the cursed. It’s a little spooky, and I’m a scaredy cat so I’ll probably be watching this in the daytime but I will finish this one! I heard nothing but good review.
Zomvivor — 9/10: I love that they’re doing something outside their comfort zone, that’ll really test their ability in acting. I was surprised to see Boss in this, but pfft I’m not complaining. I love an apocalypse / zombie themed show, so I’m excited for this one.
Hug-E-Alger The Musical — 3/10: This is mostly because it’s a musical, I just don’t think I’ll be into it. The only thing saving this for me is that it’s Nunew, and he’s got a voiceee. The show overall seems funny, but as of right now, nothing is pulling me to watch this.
Magic Lover — 10/10: THOMASKONG, KENGNAMPING, AND JIMMYOHM??? Plus it has magic involved, it seems cute and the plot is interesting. I’m so excited to see their take on school enemies to lovers, secretary x boss, and mentee x mentor, along with magical elements. (Their names are taking me out though hahahaha)
Restart — 8/10: Ooh this concept seems really interesting and has a lot of people I know. I’m a little confused by the trailer but I’m also intrigued. I think I’ll probably end up watching it! ALSO YIM AS A BAD GUY??? Yes please. The more I watched the trailer, the more I was being pulled in. Pung being in this is a nice bonus.
Duang with You — 10/10: I love the Your Sky cast, I was so ready to see Teetee and Por as main leads. This is such a cute and funny concept for them, they’ll fit it perfectly. I was obsessed the second I watched this trailer (when it came out), and I was so impatient that I started reading the book, that’s how down bad I am. It’s coming out soon & I’m so excited. I can’t wait for them to be shamelessly flirting with one another. Also, didn’t realize North and Wave is in this ahhhhh (I obviously didn’t know them before I started DMD friendship 3, but now I do).
You(r)tuber — 9/10: The way I didn’t expect to see Earth on my screen, but I’m so here for it, even if I’ll probably hate his character for being a cheating ex. YouTuber + camera man romance, oh heck yessss!!! I just know Tle and Firstone is going to eat this up. And omg Gems, I’m so excited to see him on my screen again.
Mr. Fanboy — 10/10: AUAUSAVE MAIN LEADSSSS!!! First of all, I loved the concept when I first watched the trailer but now it’s even better as Au is in DEXX. I’m so excited to see the behind the scenes of fan service, calling out the industry, and the fans for things actors have to deal with. JAMES AS A VILLIAN? Oh I’m so ready for it. And a bonus of Patji and Ryujin as side characters, yes yes yes! The idea of going from a secret fan to working with your idol, just to realize their not what you thought they were… oh DOMUNDI, your mind >>>
Your Third — 6/10: MaxNat are backkkk! I just wish they would give them something different, it always feels like Nat’s character is happy and excited, while Max’s character is closed off. GIVE THEM SOMETHING WITH DEPTH, THEY CAN HANDLE IT!! I want more mature concepts, and by that I mean for meaningful/ deep, not more NC. I love me a good getaway romance instead of doing the actual mission your supposed to, so that’s a plus. I’m 50/50 on whether I’m going to watch this, but slightly leaning towards watching it. I’m not completely sure yet, so I guess I’ll see when it comes out.
Love Once Upon a Time — 9/10: NETJJ AND LATTEKIM YESSIR. I love this time travel concept, it reminds me of Our Sky 2 x NLMG. JJ is already cracking me up, I just know he’s going to be hilarious throughout. And the diva Kim’s character is, cursing Latte’s character to be the one who falls in love in their next life, I’m so excited to see their relationship progress as the side couple!
Unknown Lover — 10/10: I know there’s no trailer out, but I folded and read the book and this is a SPICYYYY story. I’m so excited to see Thomas and Kong in this because it’s so different from what they’ve done (Your Sky + Your Sky of Us) & the other series upcoming (Magic Lover), this is more mature and intense.
DMD sitcom — 8/10: I love watching the behind the scenes of them just goofing off and talking with one another. I just hope it’s not scripted & more similar to GMMTV Livehouse, but since idk what the sitcom entails, I’m excited to see how they put this together. Also, would be a fun way to see how the different generations interact with one another both within and with other generations, especially since there’s gen 5 now.
