QIN

Qin wasn’t sure what to label his relationship with Duang. Since that fateful day at the Loy Krathong festival, Duang declared he was going to win his heart. He couldn't explain it then or now, but his confession felt different from others'. Instead of irritating him, it made him rather curious. And so, Qin did something he rarely did: he gave in to curiosity. He told him to try his best, expecting him to give up. But on the contrary, Duang followed him around constantly; Trailing behind him, putting stickers up around campus, bringing food and snacks for him and his friends, and flirting nonstop. But it didn’t make him uncomfortable; it settled into a place of comfort. And along the way, maybe Qin started looking forward to what scheme Duang had for the day to ultimately win his heart. 

The day started normally enough; he had just finished basketball practice and entered the locker room. Tong looked at him with a sly expression, “Duang isn’t coming today?”

He tried to remain expressionless, “How would I know? We’re not a thing.” He says nonchalantly. 

But his friends, fortunately and unfortunately, were in tune with his feelings. Qin swore Tong’s smile grew slightly. “Currently, you’re not. But what about the future?” He asks.

“Duang is a nice guy, you know? He not only cares about you, but also about us.” Kim continues. And he does know that, after Tong made a throwaway comment about treating them well, Duang has brought extra snacks and drinks to share with them every single time.

“People seem dedicated when impressing someone. I like to take my time to see someone.” He responds because in the back of his mind, he can’t help but fear. Scared that it’s too good to be true. 

“Taking it too long can be bad. A fighter can become a quitter.” Tong says. “That’s not my concern. If he wants to love-bomb me and become a different person when I say yes, what’s the point of having a boyfriend?” He snaps back. And isn’t that his biggest concern, that in the end, he will quit? 

Kim reassures him that Duang isn’t that type of person, and Tong teases him about opening up to Duang’s advances, but he stays silent, opting to hit the showers instead. Because logically, he knows they’re both right, Duang is different. He does have high walls to prevent himself from getting hurt. And most importantly, he is more open to Duang than he has been to anyone in a long, long time; that’s what scares him the most.

He re-enters the locker room, after his shower, to grab his stuff, when Duang comes running in. He has drinks for Tong and Kim, once again, and a drink for himself. Jamie and Pae come running after teasing Duang. He liked seeing this side of Duang, the one who gets annoyed by his friend.

After some back-and-forth and ultimately being ditched by Tong and Kim, he ends up going to dinner with Duang and his friends. 

Dinner starts off well enough; they find seats, and Duang keeps giving him pork until there’s none left. He notices Duang didn’t get any, so without thinking, he puts one on his plate. He watches Duang basically melt, gushing at him. He turns away in fake annoyance, hoping the slight flush to his face is hidden in the bad lighting. 

Jamie teasingly asks for some pork too, and Qin is reminded of how well Duang treats his friends. The least he could do is show that same care for Duang’s friends. With that thought in mind, he gives pork to both Jamie and Pae. He looks over to see Duang pouting at him. He’s adorable. I want to squish his cheeks. He feels his cheeks warm at his own thoughts. 

It goes downhill from there, with an unexpected bump in with an old friend from high school, Cho. At first, he’s reminiscing about their memories, when suddenly his love life, or lack thereof, is brought up.

“So were you a hot guy?” Pae asks, teasingly.

“He was so freaking hot, let me tell you that. But he didn’t seem to care about anyone, except my friend, Tiw.” Cho says, and he felt himself freeze. 

The room turned slightly colder, and he couldn’t bring himself to look over at Duang’s reaction. Cho, being the oblivious man he is, continues, “Just let me talk about it; it was a long time ago. And you two already broke up.”

“We didn’t break up or anything.” He says defensively that he doesn’t want them to get the wrong idea. He doesn’t want Duang to get the wrong idea. He’s not sure why. 

“But there’s something spicy. Tiw, my friend, gave Qin a teddy bear in front of everyone at school. He wanted everyone to know Qin was his.” Cho teases. Qin feels himself tense. The darn teddy bear, the one Duang saw at his place. He looks over to see Pae and Jamie exchange looks, but he still can’t bring himself to look over at Duang. 

“But if you want to get back together with him, feel free to tell him,” Cho says, and Qin feels pure annoyance. What is his problem?

Jamie changes the subject, “Qin, is the jelly good?”

“It’s decent.” He replies, confused.

“What do you think of Duang?” And for the umpteenth time, he’s caught off guard. Quickly, he realizes why Jamie asked him that: it was to subtly let Cho know, who finally got the message, and apologized.

“What do you think of Duang?” Pae repeats, leaning forward. Before he can answer, not that he knew what to say, Duang speaks up for the first time, “I’ll get you another bowl.” He says, before running away.

Duang is too naive, Qin. If you don’t tell him how you feel, he’ll never know. The one line echoes in his mind. He always thought Duang was sure of himself, that he would be able to tell Qin’s affection and feelings, without him having to put it into words. But as he looks over at Duang at the serving table and sees him trying to hide his sadness with a smile, he is struck by a thought. What if Duang was as unsure as he felt, and was just better at hiding it? 

Qin contemplated the entire walk back on how to bring up his thoughts, but he was never good with words. As the walk was coming to an end, he caved and decided to stay silent. Better to say nothing than the wrong thing and make it worse.

He knew this was cowardly of him, but one part of him wanted to plan his words properly, and another part of him wondered if he was just overreacting. I mean, this is Duang; Happy, relentless, caring Duang. He’s probably just overthinking the dinner. But even as he convinces himself that nothing has changed, it doesn’t stop the knot forming in his stomach. 

He sits on his coach, lost in thought, fingers scrolling until somehow he ends up on Duang’s Instagram page. Traitorous fingers. He sees that Duang uploaded a story, and instantly clicks it. The video was of the night sky; there’s nothing relatively sad about it. See, he’s fine. He tries to convince himself that he’s overthinking, but a part of him knows. Before he could talk himself out of it, he liked Duang’s story and turned it off. There, that will show him I care, he thinks while smiling. Sleep doesn’t come easily to him that night.

The next morning, he’s standing next to the crosswalk with his usual white headphones on, but today, he has nothing playing in them. He felt something was off before he even saw Duang, something about him was off; He walked up to him and handed him a drink like usual, but it was all wrong. Like one wrong move, and Duang would disappear.

The warning bells start off with the simplest thing: a hello from Duang. To most, it sounded how it usually sounds, but he knew better. He has had Duang trailing behind him for weeks, and as much as he likes to pretend it doesn’t affect him, he’s noticed almost everything about Duang by now.

He knows Duang. And the pitch of his voice when he greeted him was off. There was a smile on his face, but it didn’t reach his eyes like they usually do. His smile would usually make his eyes scrunch at the corners, and his dimples would pop out. Not that Qin noticed or anything… because he hadn’t. Obviously. 

He shook it off. Maybe Duang was just tired? They were out pretty late last night, and based on his Instagram story, he was out longer. 

“Let me walk you to class,” Duang says, with a small smile. But all it did was make him want to scream even more.

The second warning bell came almost instantaneously after, in the form of silence; One thing Duang isn’t is silent.  He’s always filling the air with either light conversation, obvious flirting, or nonsensical but endearing sounds. Either way, he was accustomed to the noise. Duang hasn’t even screamed about him liking his Instagram story, not one word about it. They walked side by side, but Duang didn’t ‘accidentally’ bump into his side, or try to ‘accidentally’ hold his hand. 

The third warning bell sounded when they finally reached his class. As they were parting ways, Duang said, “Have a good class,” with that same small smile. No overdramatic sigh, no declaration that time is going to move so slowly since he won’t be next to Duang, no debates on whether he should sneak into his class, and no whining. A small smile and “have a good class” is what he got. 

Qin hated it. He hated it with a passion. And he hated that he hated it so much. He can feel his fears lingering. He finally got tired. He’s giving up. He’s tired of waiting.  He wanted to say something, anything. But he didn’t know what to say.

He habitually went to class and sat down next to Tong and Kim. They asked him if he was okay, and he offered a noncommittal nod. Nowhere close to the truth, but they didn’t push. He couldn’t focus on the lesson; all he could think about was how distant Duang had been all morning. He had to do something, anything, to get Duang back.

He quickly packs his stuff up and stands, almost stumbling at his quick movement. “Where are you going?” Kim asks him.

“To win back my Duang.” He is determined. My Duang, that felt so good to say.

He hears Kim and Tong whistle and cheer him on, but he doesn't stop. He hears them follow beside him, always there to support him, without being asked. 

He walks determinedly through the halls. Usually, he waits for Duang to come to him, but today he was going to go to Duang first; he would be the one to show up. Show that he cares. 

“Have you seen Duang today?” He hears some guy say to his group of friends. He usually wouldn’t care about gossip, but they were talking about Duang. He slows down and spots the group by the locker.

“He’s so bearable now that he toned his personality down.”

“Do you think someone finally told him how annoying he is? Good riddance. I should give that person 10,000 baht.”

“He’s finally likable now that he’s not him.”

“I knew he was faking his personality; no one is that upbeat all the time. He’s such a fake.”

“He’s a man-child.”

“How did he ever think he had a chance with Qin? He’s the untouchable hottie of the campus, as if he ever had a chance.”  They banter back and forth, laughing at each other’s quips, enabling each other.

Qin likes to think of himself as a rational person. He hated attention. He hated getting involved in trivial matters. He avoided confrontation like his life depended on it. But this was about Duang, HIS Duang, the same Duang he’s been worried about all day.

He barely heard his friends call his name as he walked up to the group of boys. He felt everyone’s eyes on him, and while it usually bothered him, today he used it as fuel.

“Shut the hell up. You don’t get to talk about him like that; you don’t deserve to even utter his name. His name is worth more than all of you combined. Who do you think you are to talk about the kindest, most caring, selfless, and happiest person like that? Acting like his best qualities, things that you obviously lack, are flaws that he should be ashamed of? You don’t know Duang, and thank goodness for that, because pathetic, unhappy people like you don’t deserve to know him. You thought he didn’t have a chance with me? You’re so wrong. I’m the one who is lucky to have a chance with him, because he is out of all our leagues.” He spats angrily. 

The courtyard goes silent, gobsmacked at Qin for snapping. He feels the cameras on him, he feels the eyes, he feels the judgement, but for once, it didn’t bother him.

He doesn’t wait for a response from the boys; he couldn’t be bothered. They were basically gum on the bottom of his shoe for all he cared. He was on a mission, with the adrenaline pumping through his body, and he walked to the Decorative Arts campus. 

He found Duang instantly, like his eyes were meant to find him in a crowd. Duang, who was walking next to Jamie and Pae, had that small, subdued smile painted on his face. He heard everyone stop to whisper as he passed, but he didn’t let that falter his steps. His eyes locked on Duang, and everything else faded into the background. 

He saw Pae nudge Duang until he finally looked up, and they locked eyes. “Qin, I was on my way to you—“ Duang started. But before he could finish, Qin closed the distance between them. At first, he didn’t say anything; he just stared up at Duang. Duang looked back at him, confused, “Is something wrong?” He asks worriedly. Worried about him when he was the one upset. Who is this man? Did someone send him as an apology for all the horrible men he had to deal with before he met Duang?

He took a step closer, maintaining eye contact, and pulled him into a hug. He felt Duang freeze in surprise, but Qin didn’t falter; he just patiently waited. He leans forward, gets on his tippy toes, and whispers into his ear, “You don’t have to smile if you don’t want to. You don’t have to pretend with me.” He says quietly, just for him and Duang, because that’s all that matters.

He feels Duang let out a shaky breath, Duang’s hands shake as they finally fall around his waist, holding him like he’s precious, and that if he didn’t hold on, he would disappear.

He wouldn’t, and he had to let Duang know that. He was never good with words or expressing his emotions, but for Duang, he was willing to try. He pulled away slightly, smiling when he heard Duang whine quietly. 

He takes a deep breath and looks Duang straight in the eyes. “I like you. I like you for always being here. I like you for staying by my side. I like you for quietly listening. I like you for working hard on a performance because you knew how much it meant to me. I like you for reassuring me when I never expressed my doubts. I like you for caring for my friends. I like you for liking me even when I don’t know how to say it. I like you for being you.” He says earnestly. 

He watches as the lingering doubt clears from Duang’s eyes, the sad expression fully melted off his lips. In place of it, his million-dollar smile. His eyes were a little moist, as a light blush adorned his cheeks and his ears. He’s so adorable.

“Oh, Ter, you’re so cute. What am I going to do, my heart is dancing to the sounds of Qin Qin Qin.” Duang says in excitement. Usually, Qin would deflect to hide his embarrassment, his affection, but he didn’t have to hide anymore. Instead, he gives Duang a cheeky smile, “And the beats of Duang Duang Duang is surrounding my brain and heart.” 

“Ugh, they’re already unbearable,” Pae says teasingly.

“Oh, I didn’t know my friend was this cheesy. Someone save us all,” Tong responds in jest.

“You guys are ruining their moment, shhh,” Kim says.

Qin blushes; he forgot that everyone was watching them, including their friends. He looks over at Duang and finds that it was all worth it. 

Duang bumps his shoulder with his. Is this okay? He asks with his eyes. He smiles back. This is more than okay.

He looks down at Duang’s hand. Would it be too soon to ask to hold his hand? Would that be too forward? Duang followed his eyes and brightened. He held out his hand to him, ignoring the catcalls from their friends. Qin didn’t hesitate; he looked at Duang and put his hands in his. It was a perfect fit.

When you’re in a competition on who thinks Chucky is cute, but these two show up. If I had a time for every time someone called Chucky cute, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.

I have the perfect friend for Duang, I need him to meet Changmin (Q) from The Boyz.

And if this is your first time hearing about Changmin or The Boyz, just know his love for Chucky goes deep… I’m talking about he lets them “roam” around the dorm because they’d feel trapped in his room. Fans brought Chucky doll to the concert and he called it his son. Anyways, he’s all I could think of when I watched Duang with you today. 😭

SINGLES INFERNO S5 RANTTTT (GRAB SNACKS BECAUSE IM BACK!)

Hi everyone, I’m back with a new obsession, did you guys miss me? Because I missed having something to discuss.

So, before I start I wanted to let you guys know a couple of things: This isn’t my first time watching Single’s Inferno, I actually watched season 2 (it’s so weird to see Dex as a panelist LOL, but this is perfect for him). I didn’t watch season 3-4 because I heard it wasn’t good, I didn’t watch season 1 because I got into it when season 2 was airing. I also waited to watch this season until just today and yes, I binged 10 episodes (please no comments about this… I know.) I was heavily contemplating whether it was worth watching, when like always clips on Tik Tok convinced me.

THOUGHTS ON CONTESTANTS:

Men:

Hyungjae -> I’m not going to lie to you, he didn’t really stand out to me. He’s attractive don’t get me wrong, but he hasn’t done anything memorable.

Seung-il -> He's iffy. I like him for now, but he is lowkey being shady in the preview for episode 11-12. Also, I don't think it's wrong that he explored Mina Sue (even if I don't get why), since he said from the beginning that he was interested in both Mina Sue and Min-gee.

Hyeon-Wo -> He seems like the type who falls fast and hard, he was lowkey love bombing, which threw me off. I don't think he means to, but he's so awkward and is not good with social cues.

Jae-Jin -> Stood out the first day because of his grandpa walk (I was so surprised he got chosen as the most popular ngl). I thought he was a little odd, but with more recent episodes he's been growing on me a lot, and he might be one of my favorites.

Sung-min -> He's so possessive that it's making me uncomfortable.

Su-been -> I like him(?), I wasn't the biggest fan when he was using Hee-sun to make Mina sue mad, but he's grown on me.

Sung-hun -> He's so chill, and he seems like a good listener. And you can tell he feels a lot more comfortable when he has someone to talk to in English.

I-Geon -> He's lowkey funny, like once you get used to the way he talks, he's hilarious. I like him!

Women:

Hee-sun -> Omg I love her, she's so smart and pretty. I love that we got to see more of her in the newer episodes.

Go-eun -> Everyone wants her, and like I get ittttt. She's so pretty, and her smile is gorgeous.

Ye-Jin -> She didn't really stand out to me, but I like her so far.

Min-gee -> MY FAVORITE, AHHHHHHH I LOVE HER. She's so strong, pretty, and smart. She deserves all good things.

Joo-young -> So unproblematic, she's so sweet!! And during that episode of the head & tails competition, the way she dragged Mina Sue gave me so much satisfaction.

Mina Sue -> I CANNOT STAND HER. Let me just say this, she's a crusty dusty pick me good for nothing crybaby. And before anyone says that she's allowed to explore her options (which yes, they are), the reason I don't like her is not because she's exploring, but the way she's going about it. She has an attitude with all the girls, and going after any men that gives her a tiny bit of attention, with no consideration for anyone. And now she wants Sung-hun because he's been here for her, I can't help but wonder if that's genuine.

Ha-eun -> She's so pretty, but she hasn't stood out to me yet. I want to see more of her.

THOUGHTS ON COUPLES:

Min-gee -> Seun-gil: I still like them, and I hope they can work things out... I love that Min-gee took someone else to paradise, but I'm a little worried that she caught feelings for Su-been (they're cute too ngl)

Su-been -> Hee-sun: THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THEM DURING PARADISE WAS INCREDIBLEEEE. I really like them together, and I love how Hee-sun was so secure that she was fine with Min-gee taking him to paradise. I hope they end up together, and he doesn't sway.

Joo-young -> Jae-Jin: I like them together a lot more than I ever expected, they're both so calm and collected. It felt like I was watching a romance drama during their paradise scene, I mean holding on to each other until they physically couldn't??? I hope they end up together, I honestly think they will.

Go-eun -> I-geon: I like them the best out of the three guys interested in her. THE POOL SCENE???? The chemistry was insane. I like how they can bounce off each other, and they way they're so giggly.

I hope Sung-hun finds someone, but (maybe biased idc) I don't want him to end up with Mina Sue, he deserves so much better!!

ALSO, I LOVE THE PANELISTS FOR SPEAKING THEIR MINDS AND REACTING/ SAYING EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING ABOUT MINA SUE. It sucks that production is telling them to tone it down (understandable because netizens are intense), but that's why it's so satisfying when others call Mina Sue for her BS.

If you have been following me for a while, you would know that I was OBSESSED with 9-1-1. But unfortunately, I haven't been back on my 9-1-1 craze since they decided to kill Bobby (BRING PEEPAW BACKKKK)!!!

Everything I hear is through the grapevines (Tik Tok), and all I have to say is what is actually going on with this show?? They killed Abuela, they barely have Buck and Eddie on good terms (the same duo who co-parent a kid btw), they ruined Hen's and Chim's friendship because Hen hid a medical condition (IN WHAT WORLD WOULD HEN DO THAT???). Now I heard rumors that Athena and Ravi may be a thing???? No, absolutely not. They have lost the whole darn plot. I am LIVID.

and what i have to say is IT'S PERFECT! so silly and funny and light and beautifully shot and lit! teeteepor are such stars, I'm so happy they got these roles!

DMD The Reality: The Third Chapter ep. 6 Review/ Commentary

OUR SECOND HONORARY FRIDAY (I watched it when it came out but didn't get to write this until today) SO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS.... Last episode, and last review!!-- I'm going to miss watching this every week :(

Warning: overuse of the word "cute" because I find them all adorable, I'm sorry if that gets annoying....

First of all, Poppy is the perfect person to host, I hope he gets more opportunities to MC, I love him!!

The group song for gen 5 -- My Number One Duo -- is so catchy!! I like it, and everyone was so cute.

The judges all amazing, as usual! ALL THE FAVES COMING BACK TO WATCH, THAT IS WHAT WE WANT TO SEE, YESSS!!

Gen 1: Park

Gen 2: Yim & Tutor

Gen 3: TeeTee (he's so funny LMAOO, the way he tumbled and then instantly served face while tucking his hair)

Gen 4: Ohm, JJ, Kim (the diva trio), Por, Ryujin, and Patji.

TeeTee is not sly, the way he immediately turned to Por and repeated the song name (Narak chip pung) which translates to "incredibly cute" my adorable dorks <3

Wave is first!! You can tell that he doesn't have a lot of experience, but he is so cute, so he fits the song and concept soooo well. The way that everyone adores him, they're so real for that. Also, I was cracking up when he tried to act cool at the end, Wave you're such a cutie pie, just embrace it. "I feel like I'm attending my kid's school event" HAHAHA FR.

P: "Did you take anything away from Yim?" W: "Yes, yes I did, I need more experience" with pure confidence. LMAOOO HE'S TOO CUTE. I can't handle it. THEN HIM RUNNING OFF STAGE, TOOK ME OUT.

North was next, his song was Magic. I'm kind of sad that we didn't get to see him sing during the singing challenge due to scheduling conflicts, he has a pretty nice voice. His voice was softer than I imagined. Everyone's reaction in the crowd was so real, especially TeeTee and Kim.

Not about the performance, but why are TeeTee and Por locking eyes randomly, like hello???? No respect to the single community.

The judges are always so spot on what can be improved, and they give clear steps for them to take, I really want to highlight and show my admiration for the judges.

JJ is so funny LMAOOO, he's such a cutie. He has such a way with words, our eloquent king.

Copper sang Silent Mode. I thought his voice was nice, and his dancing was pretty stable! He just looked a little awkward, like he's trying to remember his steps (which is so understandable), I think once he gets more comfortable on stage, he has so much potential! I agree Kla, He is charming!!

Tutor side-eyeing Yim when he said Copper kept catching his eye during the performance LMAOOO, he was not a fan of that comment.

Pung sang Yang Kong Koi, he is such a cutie, let me just say that first and foremost. I really like his voice, he has such a soothing voice, feels like it's dripping with honey.

I agree that the emotion and connection with the audience wasn't fully there, but that's okay, that comes with more experience! A: "All of us adore you" YES. PUNG IS SO LOVED BY EVERYONE!!!

Not them asking Pung to do the "mommy" pose once again, if you don't leave him alone with that LMAOOOO

Pete sang brother zone (I freaking love this song, top tier choice by him) He fits the concept for this song so well, being the youngest of the generation. Okay ngl, I think he might've actually been my favorite of the night. I loved his voice since the singing round, and I still love it so much. And he's the youngest, I can only imagine how much he will improve with time and experience.

Aww Tutor and Yim had to leave :( I wish they could've stayed to see the entire thing.

Porsche sang Prot Song Krai Mah Ruk Chun Tee -- Yes, I was curious so I searched the meaning of the title, and it means, "please send someone to love me" that's so fitting for him :( -- I like his voice, but also his smile is so cute!!! I think he has a lot of potential, and will grow.

I love how much they're all rooting for Porsche, I mean how could you not? He's such a sweetheart, I love him.

Fifa sang I Need a Girl-- okay ex SM trainee, I see you -- HE DID SO GOOD. His dance was pretty smooth, the dance break with his flip?? Incredible. His voice was light and pretty, soothing to listen to. Also, the fact he was singing in Korean (I'm not sure if he's fluent), but that in itself is impressive. OHM IS SO REAL FOR HIS REACTION TO DOING THE FLIP.

Totally agree, he could debut... Is this a sign of a new tpop group under Domundi?

TeeTee and Por are so cute (I say for the millionth time, idc I will probably say this again) P'POR STRIKES AGAINNNN

Otto singing Horogals, I didn't know I needed this!! I was excited to hear him, especially knowing he can SING. I liked how he kept a magical theme, knowing this song is being used for Magic Lovers (I can't wait for that to be released). Overall, I feel like his stage was the most stable. He did amazinggggg.

KIM PASSING IT TO OHM SINCE HE PERFORMED THIS BEFORE (I love their friendship, cuties.)

Phupha sang TEEDEE TADA-- several things: 1. I absolutely LOVE this song, 2. It makes so much sense that Phupha would pick this song LMAO, I mean have you seen the gym videos or the thirst traps?? If you haven't you should. You're welcome in advance. 3. He was lowkey giving me AuAu's performance of Bad Girls Like You-- UGH HE'S ATTRACTIVE AND HE KNOWS IT. Sir, where are the buttons to your shirt?? No one can handle all that, let me have himmmmm. (Let me rein myself in, I apologize... that was an alter ego or whatever). His voice is nice, his dance is a little awkward (but will improve with time), but he has amazing stage presence.

KIM AND OHM LOCKING IN AND LOOKING AT EACH OTHER WHEN PHUPHA HIT THIS MOVE (picture below... for science...) WAS SO REAL. They knew that was so hot. Latte and Jimmy better come get their men.

Still giggling at their reactions (AND JJ'S... I SAW THAT TOO). O: "Why is it hot in here" HE IS TOO REAL. I AM ACTUALLY CACKLINGGG.

That was the end of the individual performances, and honestly they all did amazing!! All of them have a lot of potential to do even greater.

Now onto the partner performances:

North and Otto -- I liked the concept of their performance, two actors who unexpectedly fell for each other. Their voices went well together, and their chemistry shined.

"North, once you let your guard down and expressed your feelings, you seemed to forget everything else." WHY DID THEY CALL HIM OUT LIKE THAT HAHAHA. He looks so shy, awww.

Why did TeeTee catch strays, "If you want advice on how to control it, you can ask TeeTee. He also struggled with it at first."

Copper and Fifa -- They are both such talented singer and dancer, so it makes sense that their performance included more choreo. They did not disappoint there of course!! But the time that I felt it was the most natural was when they were smiling at each other, I felt their natural chemistry.

THEM KISSING THEIR HANDS WITH THEIR HANDS TOUCHING??? DON'T THEY KNOW WE'RE INSANE? Ugh their chemistry is out of this world. Copper copying Fifa is so cute awwww.

Ryujin and Patji (prepare to be SICK of me) -- The acting intro?? I didn't expect it. The premise of the performance, is this a play about them... interesting choice. The amount of chemistry these two ooze is unreal. R: "So, you want me to change?" SHUT UP. THE WAY HE LOOKED AT PATJI, THE WAY PATJI GOT SHY???? JJ and Kim were so real for their reaction, because I was literally squealing and hiding my face at the same time.

P: "Last year, it was just the two of us performing solo" Ohm's reaction, exactly king!! They're not even trying to be subtle.

The whole scene at the desk: Patji poking Ryujin's cheek, Ryujin leaning on his shoulder, Patji getting shy and pushing him away??? Ryujin's smile. Ugh adorable.

Ryujin pretending to be asleep, the SONG MEANING (being more than friends) the hand on the chin (I immediately got butterflies), Ryujin chasing after him and responding with the next part of the song, GRABBING HIS ARM AND PULLING HIM CLOSER? Cinema.

New reaction pic unlocked (they were both SO INCREDIBLY REAL throughout the performance, I kept catching myself watching their reactions)

But literally I felt like I was interrupting them during this performance, I mean the way they kept doing the triangle method??? YEAH I NOTICED. I thought they were going to kiss at the end, I mean did you guys see the way they kept staring into each other eyes and lips and getting closer? Ryujin looked so shy, looking back at the audience like he was reminding them both where they were (this could be a bit delusional of me)

Let's list it all: The hand holding, the collar pulls (HELLO? THIS WAS INSANE), the glances at each other, the hand on the shoulder, the taps? Yeah, they make me delusional.

AND AS IF THAT WASN"T ENOUGH, THE LAST TWO LINES KILLED ME... P: "Do you still think we're just friends?" R: "Isn't it obvious by now?" WHILE BITING HIS LIP? Oh my gosh.

The other DMD members are so real for how they reacted throughout this performance, I mean the chemistry was unfathomable. Now for the performance (other than the stage presence and chemistry I mentioned over and over by now) their singing was incredible, I absolutely adored hearing Patji's falsetto. Like yes, show that off king!

I love how much they all adore Patji and Ryujin so much, I mean the way TeeTee started crying, I could tell he was reminiscing, he didn't see what we saw, he saw baby Patji and Ryujin growing and improving themselves. JJ, Ohm, Por, and Ohm all tearing up, they're all soo incredibly proud of them. I love them, and I love how everyone in DMD supports each other.

Aof's comments about their story was so beautifully said, all the viewers of season 2 really got to watch these two grow and blossom into the talented boys they are. I love them so much.

Kim mentioning Patji's shaking hands last year and how he's improved so much now (STOP I WILL START SOBBING), he sounded so mother-like.

K: "Last year I said, I'm so proud of you, as if you were my son. Today, I'm very proud of you, my boy." SHUT UP, THEY'RE SO CUTE. Especially, when you remember that Kim was the oldest last season, while Ryujin and Patji were the youngest. I love their dynamic. P: "Thank you, mommy" AND THE WAY KIM IMMEDIATELY CHOKED UP, PROTECT THEM AT ALL COSTS!! They mean so much to me.

K: You know why I don't want to cry? It'll ruin my look" HAHAHA A DIVA WILL ALWAYS BE A DIVA.

Best friendship award -- I honestly wanted it to go to Porsche or Wave. I'm so glad that Wave won!! He's so cute, the way he was so confused, and the way everyone adores him, he deserves the win. I'm so curious to find out who he's going to choose to go on the vacation with. W: "I never thought I'd get to be someone's best friend" HAHAHA no thoughts behind those eyes.

Best performance award -- Otto makes the most sense!! Like I said, I felt like his performance was the most stable and balanced. He deserves this win!!

Side note: Porsche is so cute, the way he loves the others so much. Him literally jumping in excitement for the others, ugh my heart.

Best Shining Star Award -- I was surprised by this because this wasn't a thing the past two seasons, but I totally agree with the winners! Like I said, I loved Fifa's, Phupha's, and Pete's performances. I think they all deserved to be recognized for these performances. I wonder what they will win, will it be a single? An OST? I also wonder when they'll let us know what it is.

Pete: "What is this award called again" LMAOOOO he was disassociating or what? Jk, but that was so funny.

BEST PARTNER AWARD -- I was surprised that they said all three of them have the opportunity, and I was thinking it was similar to season 1 when both ThomasKong and KengNamping won, but it wasn't. They still chose someone who gets to have their series first. As you guys can probably guess, I was rooting for Ryujin and Patji.

I'm really glad that we will get to see a series from all these pairing (and an excellent marketing choice on Aof's behalf).

I SCREAMED SO LOUD WHEN PATJI AND RYUJIN WON LIKE AHHHHHHHH THEY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR OVER A YEAR. THEY FINALLY GOT IT. Patji was so cute jumping up and down, and the way they hugged each other. Everyone else celebrating them (I love them all, I say for the nth time)

The way Patji was getting emotional and immediately leaned into Ryujin, and Ryujin ignored everything else to hug Patji and comfort him?? Excuse me while I go scream in my pillow.

I hope to see a school romance, something light and fluffy like Your Sky, Perfect 10 Liners, We Are, Fourever You, My School President, etc. OR OR OR enemies to lovers!!! They could pull both off.

It's such a bittersweet thing: I'm so happy that we got to see all this, but also, now there's no more episodes left.... Every week, no new episode to come and watch. I can't wait to see what all of them do, and what works they will be part of coming up!

Every couple days I think about how fucked up it is that Bellamy and Clarke's whole shtick was that they were better together, two parts of a whole (the heart and the head), that they couldn't and didn't want to live without each other, that they always found their way back to each other, that in such a fucked up world where they had taken the burden of humanity on their shoulders they realized again and again how much better and lighter life was when they shared the burden together, but we're supposed to think they were just friends? Did "together" mean nothing to you??? Yes bro, you're my whole world and my reason to live and your arms are my only safe haven, bro???

Aww everyone sleeping in the same room (other than the two pairs who won friendship time) they're all such cuties. They're so wrong for giving them only 5 minutes to get outside HAHAHA

Patji dragging Ryujin out of bed (cuties), of course I noticed that.

YESSS A TELEPATHY GAME TO TEST EVERYONE'S FRIENDSHIP. Copper immediately being out is taking me out. North's look at Phupha when he pointed to Otto's cheek, man didn't even try to hide it.

THE LAST FIVE: PUNG, PETE, WAVE, PATJI, AND FIFA ARE SUCH CUTIES. I was literally getting cute aggression from them.

PETE MAKING THAT SOUND WITH THE CAT PUNCH, NORTH AND OTTO IS SO ME. I REACTED THE SAME EXACT WAY!!!! PETE GET BACK IN MY POCKETTT 🥹

I'm glad Pung won and was able to have one final conversation with Copper. My heart hurt during their friendship date, the way that Copper apologized for being torn (there's nothing wrong with that, it's the whole point of the show), and Pung reassuring him, I love Pung, he's so mature with his feelings and expressing himself. I'm proud of him for saying how he wanted to pick Copper, but now he's choosing himself. (I saw people speculate that he did this because he didn't want Copper to feel bad for not choosing him, and if that is true, then he's so selfless. Protect him at all costs.) I'm glad that they both expressed themselves so vulnerably and left it all in the open.

P: "I still wish you well.", P: "I want as to be friends for as long as we can", C: "Even though we can't be partners, you don't have to worry. I'm not going anywhere.", P: "I'm not going anywhere", C: "Thank you for being a part of my life" I LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP. Forget the show and partnerships, they're platonic soulmates.

NORTH IS SO FUNNY, WHEN OTTO SAID HE'S DRESSED UP NICE, HE HITS HIM WITH, "Just in case someone regrets not choosing me." PFFT. This one conversation cemented to me that they were going to choose each other. I was like 99.99% sure.

Phupha popping up out of nowhere and interrupting is giving me flashbacks to Tle popping in on Firstone and Latte's conversation in season 2.

North didn't even try to hide his displeasure HAHAHA, and him giving his sunglasses, he's so not slick.

I think Phupha knew Otto wasn't going to choose him, but he wanted to let him know he was going to pick him anyways. "Actually, ON THIS SHOW, I, like... I don't have my eyes on anyone else. I think, at this very moment IN THE SHOW, I choose you." OTTO CAUGHT IT. I CAUGHT IT. WE ALL CAUGHT THAT. NOTED.

NORTH WALKING BY WHILE WHISTLING, "I'm going to see Wave" THIS MAN IS NOT REAL. Wave walking up not knowing anything.

North and Wave's conversation was so comfortable, but you can tell that North just finds Wave a cute younger friend. I don't think he ever even considered choosing someone else other than Otto. Side note: North is actually such a weirdo (affectionally)-- But I love how he could tell that Wave was sad and trying to hide it. Just didn't realize it's about HIM. 💔

"No one wants to hug a teddy, if they said do, then they're lying" EXACTLY WAVE, everyone has nightmares about that bear, along with us, viewers.

W: "If you're the one for them, you don't have to try so hard." ANOTHER LINE TO GO IN THE HALL OF FAME!! That one hits hard.

We did get a glimpse of Pete and Fifa having a conversation, I was wondering about it. For them, it really comes down to Pete being so young, he feels like he needs more experience. I'm glad that they seem to a consensus, and closed that possible door.

AN UNO GAME BETWEEN PHUPHA, PORSCHE, AND PETE, that's exactly what the fans wanted to see, yes! I love that we got hear more about how Porsche was feeling, and how he joined to get closer to everyone. PHUPHA IS TAKING ME OUT, he's so serious about the uno game, and trying to look at Porsche's card. Pete trying to look, and Porsche just showing him, because "I have too many cards for you to remember" hahaha

I agree that Porsche is the sweetest, he just seems to be the one you can go to absolutely anything, and he would always know what to say or how to comfort you.

Fifa joining them, and them teasing him about joining the bear hugging gang. I love how they all comforted Pete, they're all so understanding about each other feelings.

Wave and Patji as a duo just makes so much sense. I feel so bad that Wave knew that North never strayed from Otto, when he was looking at North this whole time.

The way Patji was talking (about Ryujin, yes I will be delusional) was so adorable.

"Last time, only Ryujin and I hugged it [the teddy bear]. It felt lonely" IT'S OKAY, BECAUSE NOW YOU HAVE EACH OTHER!!

W: "I want to know who you're comfortable with." P: "Who I'm comfortable with..." AND THEN IT CUTTING TO FIFA AND PATJI TALKING, I just know the editors were in that room giggling for putting that.

Fifa and Patji's talk, it was kind of awkward (affectionate).

These two seem like two shy besties who are lowkey spilling the tea.

Patji immediately smiling when Copper got back, knowing Fifa was going to go talk to Copper, he totally ships them. AND FIFA HURRIED OUT OF THERE HAHHAHA, HE WASTED NO TIME.

Porsche and Pung's conversation both broke and healed my heart. Pung is so sweet for bringing back a cake for Porsche. Porsche immediately knowing something was wrong when Pung said he didn't want to eat

Pung: "Yeah, I failed." But you didn't!! You got so much more, you grew your skills, and literally everyone would go to war for you. Your time will come and you will find the partner who is meant for you.

I love the way Porsche is reassuring him, literally the sweetest soul. Also, the way Ryujin coming in not knowing, and Porsche immediately telling him to stop. The way Ryujin locks in and comforts him, and reassures him that the show was to grow closer as a pair.

R: "I'm rooting for you" Porsche: "You'll find the right one" My sweet boys.

And Porsche bringing up the approval chat, and saying he has to approve Pung's partner, I love them.

BUCKLE UP, RYUJIN AND PATJI'S LAST TALK (By now, you already know I am very delusional about them)

R: “Where have you been” P: “I was talking to Fifa” AND THE LOOK RYUJIN GAVE.

The glances, the soft voices, the tension in the air... I love.

My stomach was in knots the whole campfire scene, I was so freaking nervous on the outcome. Every time their phone went off, I was imagining the Love Island I GOT A TEXTTTTT hahaha.

I KID YOU NOT, I WAS LITERALLY GETTING HEART PALPITATIONS WHEN RYUJIN WAS WALKING UP THOSE STAIRS.

Ryujin picked Patji (surprise to absolutely no one) but the little drawing of the jellyfish was so freaking cute.

UMM ALSO THE PICTURES RYUJIN SHOWED WAS BOTH HIS AND PATJI'S FROM LAST SEASON????? SIR... HOW DID YOU GET PATJI'S PICS? WHY DO YOU HAVE THEM? Showing off... what about the single people.

MY ACTUAL REACTION TO REALIZING THAT PATJI PICKED RYUJIN AND THEY'RE ACTUALLY AN OFFICIAL PAIRING NOW:

But on a real note, I find it really sincere how they had a conversation about how often they're going to see each other from now on with school and work, and how they're willing to work together.

Because this is going to be 1,000,000 pages unless I limit myself, the following are my favorite snippets of the rest of their conversation on the roof:

The fake out handshakes, the banter, Ryujin moving closer, them quoting themselves from LAST SEASON (I need to be sedated, that almost took me out.)

P: "You really did stick around" HE SURE DID. Them telling each other they believe in each other, THE LOCKED PINKIES. Guys. Like can we be fr? That could be a scene in a drama.

P: "I just realized how the older gens feel now" oh so irrevocably in love? jokes... unless.... (I am actually joking.)

P: "I'm not alone anymore" NO YOU'RE NOT. YOU GUYS HAVE EACH OTHER. AHHHHH

The fake handshake, the giggles, the tickling, THE HUG???? Ugh their hug looked so comfy.

R: "I'm thankful for this reality show for letting me be 100% sure that he's the one I want by my side." Is actually such a romantic line.

P: "I want you guys to know that Ryujin and I are officially partners" Don't mind me while I scream (I'm so glad I didn't overreact) & them leaving with their arms around each other.

The editors are evil for putting Pung right after that, because my heart literally broke for him. THAT DARN TEDDY.

The way he was trying so hard to fight his emotions, but you could tell how upset he was walking up to that bear, ugh my heart.

Then, I realized he DID actually write "my friend Copper", I literally screamed.

"But after reading the letter, everything that happened came rushing back to me" Aww that's so relatable.

C: "Pung, you're my best friend." WRAP IT UP. THEY'RE PLATONIC SOULMATES IDC. I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH (AND FIFA).

I love Pung, they way he reassured the audience to not worry about him, he's such a freaking sweetheart. He deserves all the beautiful things in the world.

THEY'RE SO WRONG FOR PUTTING 3 TEDDIES IN ONE ROOM. I would hate that.

Porsche picked himself, which I think he mentally prepared himself for since the beginning, he never felt that kind of connection with the others. I'm glad he felt relief. ALSO HE'S SUCH A CUTIE FOR USING A LINE FROM YOUR SKY!! Your star will come to you soon Porsche, I just know it,

I felt sad for Pete, he picked himself knowing that he couldn't be with Fifa. His conversation with Fifa cemented it for him. He will find his pair, he's so young, he has all the time in the world.

MY HEART ACTUALLY BROKE FOR WAVE, LIKE SO BADLY. He chose himself, but even to the end he didn't write North. I'm glad he found what he looks for in a partner, and I just know someone is out there for him, and he will find it sooner or later.

North choosing Otto comes to absolutely no surprise, he was really like Thomas, he found who he liked and stuck with it until the very end. I'm so happy for them!

N: "I'm not solo anymore" O: "Well, you're part of a duo now." YESSS.

Side note: But why did Otto write Boreal? Is that a nickname for North, and if so, how did that come about?

O: "I feel so amazing and happy that I've found someone to walk this long path with me." You two will have each other to lean on from now on.

Also new this season, they made them come back to the firepit after choosing their partners, kind of sucks for the people who got teddy bears (I would cry if I was them)

THE WAY THE CAMERA PANNED TO WAVE LOOKING AT NORTH AND OTTO, CAMERA MAN COUNT YOUR DAYS (I say as the screen goes blurry from the tears) I love how Pete was checkin in on Wave.

And I love that Copper went to hug Pung, they're the cutest besties.

Last thing, the pairings are now official: Ryujin & Patji, North & Otto, and Copper & Fifa, so any ships you were respectfully shipping need to be let down now. (I say this to myself as well, as I had ghost ships), respect all the decisions made and don't send hate to anyone. I love all of gen 5, and their chaotic friendship.
