As well-respected members of the so called ‘sacred twenty eight’, Carina’s parents taught her that she was superior to muggleborns, half-bloods, and even some purebloods. While it never quite sunk in for her, her younger brother clung onto their every word. She loves them dearly, no matter how many times it winds up with her being hurt.

Nico’s left brow arched up over in surprise at the question, having expected this to be an interview about his newest fashion line, he was disappointed and annoyed. “I’d hardly consider myself an expert on the topic, but I think it’s admirable of anyone to want to take on such a strenuous task. I’m impressed by what they’ve accomplished thus far and curious to see where it goes from here.”

Finally, a question that actually held an interest to him rather than more about politics. “Ah, yes, I’d say I’ve always had an eye for fashion, putting pieces together and making people look and feel their best. It’s a rewarding and exciting career, as well, though it’s not for everyone. You have to be blunt but know where to draw boundaries.”

meet my disaster of a witch, persephone olympe selwyn!! as the only living heir to the selwyn family name, persephone’s parents are pushing their daughter towards an arranged marriage. how has that worked out for them so far, you may ask? not well. every time they’ve tried to introduce her to a possible suitor homegirl throws herself into a mission at work that either requires her to travel for an extended period of time or wind up in st. mungo’s. 

speaking of her career, she is a hit witch!! i know there are many different interpretations to what hit wizards do but i’ve stuck with persephone’s sole job being to apprehend dangerous criminals wanted by the ministry, including dark wizards. she loves her job, and definitely works too much. she has quite the reputation in the department of magical law enforcement as she takes her work very seriously. 

while she is affiliated with pur societatis publicly, she is probably leaning much more towards the neutral side of it all. she joined the society, as it was expected she’d do so by her parents.

BIO.

Budgy was born in London, the daughter of two aurors, and while their parents would never call them a disappointment they certainly had very different expectations when they were born

Their mom’s extended family, on the other hand, would very much call them that

They despised family events for her side growing up

She’s related to most of the Sacred Twenty-eight families through her mom’s side, and most of them are pretty awful, but the worst of them for Budgy were definitely the Blacks

Budgy never really cared about gender growing up, not really having any strong feelings about it, though that wasn’t something they vocalized to their parents until their teen years

The name Budgy comes from their dad calling them bud as a nickname after they came out to show that he supported them, which morphed into budge, and eventually budgy, before becoming their actual name

They don’t really care all too much what you call them in the end but they definitely prefer Budgy
