Aetherial Blade
Weapon (any sword), legendary (requires attunement)
This exquisite sword is crafted from an otherworldly metal that seems to shimmer and change color, reflecting the surrounding environment. The Aetherial Blade channels the very essence of the ethereal planes, granting its wielder extraordinary powers.
• Aetherial Strike: While wielding this blade, you gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls. Additionally, the sword deals an extra 1d6 force damage on a successful hit.
• Ethereal Surge: As a bonus action, you can command the blade to release a surge of ethereal energy. When you do so, your body momentarily phases out of the material plane, gaining resistance to all damage until the start of your next turn. You can use this feature once, and it recharges at dawn.
• Dimensional Rift: Once per long rest, you can use an action to create a swirling rift in the fabric of reality. The rift opens a temporary portal to the ethereal planes, allowing you to choose one of the following effects:
• Ethereal Allies: Summon two spectral warriors from the ethereal planes to aid you in combat. These warriors are identical to the "Spectral Warrior" stat block (you can find the stat block in the Dungeon Master's Guide), with the following exceptions: they have a maximum of 50 hit points, their attacks deal force damage, and they vanish after 1 minute or when reduced to 0 hit points.
• Ethereal Step: Step through the rift and instantly teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. You remain ethereal until the end of your turn, granting you advantage on Dexterity saving throws and making you immune to all non-magical damage.
The Aetherial Blade is a coveted artifact among warriors, knights, and adventurers who seek to traverse the boundaries of reality. It is said that the sword's true potential can only be unlocked by those with a strong connection to the ethereal planes.
When your players are smart asses.
“What are you foraging for?” -DM
“Co-caine! Co-caine! Co-caine!” -entire party, chanting in unison
I just... 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
How I DM my pathfinder and DnD games =)
But seriously. If I ever were to give anyone tips on how to DM a table top game it would be this. Be flexible. Give your players that cool moment or ability they want so long as it can fit what the players at the table are doing. But dont throw the rules out either, treat them as guidelines to give direction to play and incounters.
Made my players do puzzles for magical items xD#dnd #DMlife I hope ya'll don't hate me too much for those mazes lol
