Different Stories Resonate with Different People
I will always reblog this.
I once spent three hours scouring the internet to find this comic again, I will not let that be repeated.
So I have been working on this small 5e expansion for a few days. It contains 9 new constructs, a new race, a Cleric Domain and 6 magic items/artifacts. I really hope you like it and I tried really hard to make it relatively detailed.
Remember, if you want to use any of this in your game, remember to ask your DM first and give credit to the creator. Anyway I might not be able to post anything tomorrow as I have a game to host and need to think of some ideas for more Homebrew. There was originally a front cover for this small book but Tumblr wouldn’t let me post it because no more than 10 images. I’ll post the download link for this tomorrow :) That’s all from me today, peace. Actually, here is the link. The website allows you to download the PDF version of it. Where it says Destination, click Save as PDF. Then in “More Settings” change the paper size to “Letter” to remove the white strip of paper at the bottom :) https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/share/BkrdZu_aV

Whenever the elemental is subjected to acid damage, it takes no damage and instead regains a number of hit points equal to the acid damage dealt. Acid Form. The elemental can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing. A creature that touches the elemental or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 9 (2d8) acid damage. In addition, the elemental can enter a hostile creature’s space and stop there. The first time it enters a creature’s space on a turn, that creature takes 9 (2d8) acid damage. Actions Multiattack. The elemental makes 2 slam attacks. Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8+5) bludgeoning damage plus 9 (2d8) acid damage. Whelm (Recharge 4-6). Each creature in the elemental’s space must make a DC 17 Strength saving throw. On a failure, a target takes 14 (2d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage. If it is Large or smaller, it is also grappled (Escape DC 17). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained and unable to breath unless it can breath water. If the saving throw is successful, the target is pushed out of the elemental’s space. The elemental can grapple on Large creature or up to two Medium or smaller creatures at one time with this ability. At the start of each of the elemental’s turns, each grappled target takes 14 (2d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage and 9 (2d8) acid damage. As an action, a creature within 5 feet of the elemental can pull a creature or an object out of it by succeeding on a DC 17 Strength check.
Metal Elemental Large elemental, unaligned Armor Class 19 (natural armor) Hit Points 200 (16d10 + 112) Speed 30 ft., burrow 30 ft. Str 25 Dex 7 Con 24 Int 10 Wis 14 Cha 10 Damage Immunities poison, bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage from nonmagical weapons not made of adamantine weapons Condition Immunities exhaustion, paralyzed, petrified, poisoned, unconscious Senses darkvision 60 ft., tremorsense 60 ft. passive Perception 12 Languages Terran Challenge 9 (5000 XP) Absorb Heat. Whenever the elemental is subjected to fire damage, it deals an extra 7 (2d6) fire damage with its slam attacks until the end of its next turn. Earth Glide. The elemental can burrow through earth, stone or metal. While doing so, the elemental doesn’t disturb the material it moves through. Magic Weapons. The elemental’s weapon attacks are magical. Siege Monster. The elemental deals double damage to objects and structures. Actions Multiattack. The elemental makes 3 slam attacks. Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d8+7) bludgeoning, piercing or slashing damage.
Spellcasters who are willing to spend their most powerful spell slots on gathering a minion can be well rewarded, if the right elements are in place for them to take advantage of. Pulling forth exceptionally powerful elemental spirits with the proper setup can result in the conjuring of an acid or metal elemental. Called from a large enough pool of acid, or a block of properly purified metal, these powerful beings can devastate the summoner’s foes.
Acid elementals function very similarly to water elementals, except that the material they are made from is far more hazardous to life. A water elemental surging around a creature risks drowing; an acid elemental doing the same will break down and destroy the creatures form even as it drowns in the acid.
Metal elementals are stronger and more durable than the basic stone and earth that most earth elementals are made from. They also have an advanced control over the shape of their body, allowing them to reforge their limbs at will to decide how they will harm their foes. Slashing blades, piercing spikes or massive bludgeons are all valid options for the metal elemental’s three arms.

HALF-RACES
Homebrew for all the half-human combinations possible with the races found in the player’s handbook! I had a lot of fun making these, though they took a while. Have fun playing!
This was made for D&D 5e and feedback is much appreciated!

Map prep, have a lot to draw. What do other DMs do as far as hiding areas before the players discover the area? I tend to just lay paper over the areas but I feel like there is still a lvl of meta gaming seeing there is fog of war https://www.instagram.com/p/Bphn2NRBhg_/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1r90j21fl0wp6
and dont forget no microtransactions
And is a complete game with no missing elements. The DLC is only additional content that is separate from the main game, and doesnt lock you out of any content for not owning it.
Even the preorder bonuses weren’t exclusive, you could just unlock them sooner.

The Deck of Certain Things, or: The Joke Item That Almost Destroyed my Campaign
[by u/astonishingantman / reddit]
“I created this thing over two years ago as a joke item. One of my players became convinced that I was trying to trick them, and that it was a real Deck of Many Things. His paranoia spread, and the party nearly killed each other over it. After some impromptu group therapy, they decided to leave the Deck be and never speak of it again.
So now you get to use it. Have fun!”
Deck of Certain Things
Wondrous Item, Legendary
A set of 10 cards that come in a small box. “Deck of Certain Things” has been crudely carved into the box’s lid in Common.
Before you draw a card, you must declare how many cards you intend to draw and then draw them randomly (you can use a d10 to simulate the deck). Any cards drawn in excess of this number have no effect. Otherwise, as soon as you draw a card from the deck, its magic takes effect. Each card must be drawn no more than 1 hour after the previous draw. If you fail to draw the chosen number, the remaining cards fly from the deck and take effect all at once. Once a card is drawn it cannot reappear.
Once all 10 cards have been drawn, a pair of Gloves of Thievery appear in the deck box, along with a note thanking the Deck’s owner for the fun.
The cards are decorated with shoddy-looking artwork, seemingly scribbled with crayon. They are:
Acorn: 3d8 terrified squirrels are transported to your location from elsewhere on the material plane.
Fireworks: Your weapon explodes into a shower of brightly-colored glitter. It reforms in 1 hour.
Prospector: A wooden chest containing 10,000 pieces of counterfeit gold drops at your feet. The coins show a winking jester on both sides.
Liar: For the next 1d12 hours, telling a lie causes your trousers to ignite, dealing 1d6 points of fire damage.
Honey Jar: Summons a friendly sentient bear named Sigmund, who acts as an apothecary, selling the party potions from his backpack. He vanishes after 1d20 minutes.
Wallflower: You instantly succeed on all Insight checks for 24 hours, but fail all Intimidation checks.
Invitation: An imp appears in a burst of smoke, kicks you in the shins, then vanishes.
Nightmare: All items worn on your person, with the exception of undergarments, turn invisible for 1d4 hours.
Quill: A flameskull appears in front of you, delivers a heartfelt soliloquy, then explodes in a pillar of green flame. All creatures within 5 feet must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d10 fire damage.
Infant: For the next hour your voice is replaced with the shrill cries of a baby. You are unable to communicate through speech or cast spells with a verbal component.
And my players always laughed about me keeping bottle caps, each cap is a zombie, now I'm the one laughing *Muwahahahahahaha*
Liam’s One-Shot: Best of Quotes - Taliesin (part 2)
So, I only managed to catch like a few minutes of the show yesterday because of work, but I think I managed to completely and accurately capture the events of the game.
Did I nail it you guys?
