“out of the blue” is a straight up vaporwave banger, gotdamn it. That’s the power of DMT Recs/tapes/whatever, they can just casually drop a stunner and then go back to helping out left field producers making conceptual works for themselves/the heads/probably just the person that runs DMT Recs. Second song caught me up in some feelings. I dunno if it’s the shatter or the beer stein I stole but keep holding on is making me see trails. *okay* track five is trash but whatver. What this (and every good vaporwave) release lacks in ambition, it makes up for in creativity by a loooong shot. If this had come out in 2014 it’d be huge. Remember the word “blogosphere”? A big chapter in internet history died with A$AP Yams, I think. The voices on Into Your Eyes are warped, clipped, stunted, cut off. Like what they’re trying to say gets lost in every way imaginable. That’s what it’s like posting your feelings about something on the internet now. That’s why I write this blog; somebody has to be an echo for this stuff, otherwise it might not reverberate at all.
