It's kind of this whole episode (because of L's death, obvs, but also, the Wammy's flashbacks do me in hard) but THIS SCENE. All she does is walk around but it still causes me to sob uncontrollably, idek.

I will be the first to admit that I am so glad it ended this way. I would have been disappointed if it ended any other way (aside from L floating down from a cloud to grab Light and go have buttsex with him, which would have been dandy, too.) Light's character arc is only perfect because it ends up this way. And Matsuda is just perfect in general (seriously, there is no end to my love for Touta Matsuda.)

The complete reverse of position between Light and Matsuda here is excellent, from all-powerful to helpless, and from incapable to the only one doing what needs to be done.

GAH. I just really love Death Note.
