Every older race of faerun: cremation is the best way to free the soul for its journey to the after life and keep those nasty necromancers from raising up old gran gran.

Humans: gotta make sure grandad has his sword and armor with him, hate to see the old man go down without a fight.

I like how both dwarves and elves believe in reincarnation. Wonder if there’s any famous elven/dwarven pairings that have been reincarnated and have found each other through the ages.

Forget Elf soulmates finding each other in every life time, give me a story about an elf and a dwarf who end up finding each other in every new life so they can continue their drunken adventures across faerun.

I have more thoughts on elves…but it was getting a little heavy, so please enjoy this forgotten realm dwarf lore.

I can see why elves and dwarves don’t usually get along. They both have such different cultures that to elves dwarves seem oppressive and to dwarves elves seem shallow and irresponsible.

Some dwarven phrases to use in game and in real life.

I have to imagine that the origin of “eat my axe” phrase is that some dwarven adventurer was traveling with a wizard who would shout “eat this” while hurling spells. The dwarf thought it was amusing and now it’s an official battle cry.

I wonder if Dwarves and Elves ever have competitions to see who can make the most elaborate hair styles. Or maybe they trade hair care tips.
