I love thinking about all the vast amounts of time Park spends just being ordinary. Helping people in completely mundane and ordinary ways. In fact, it is what he lives for - it is his greatest joy. To help with everyday tasks and errands. He loves traveling from place to place and helping here and there as he can. Help with guard shifts, help construct some buildings, help heal people, run a few letters to neighboring towns. In dungeons and dragons campaign he's in now, he'd spent the better part of the last 7 years wandering from town to town doing just that. It was such bliss for him. Yes, it was interjected with laborious battles - but he valued those hard times as well, because he was valued for being there in the first place. He wants to be recognized and valued for the time and effort he puts into people, into being there for them, to seeing them where they're at and loving them unabashedly. Not recognized in the bells and whistles oh good job! way, but in the "you saw me, and I see you" way. He's not used to staying with the same people for extended periods anymore, and he's not used to not being able to give his all for the people he's talking to all the time. He's also not used to his all not being enough after a while... It's just a bit bitter sweet to think about for him, that the times where he's happiest are often times where he is the least known by the people around him. The more people that know him, know his problems and dreams, the less comfortable and happy he tends to be... and yet he longs for someone to love him like he tries to love others
