Experimenting with pixel art!! Im doing a bunch of my dnd characters.
Upside: this is forcing me to do actual background practice in a medium where it doesnt matter much whether it looks good
Downside: this makes me want to make an rpg game based on my dnd campaign im in and i absolutely do not have the time to do that lmao
I'm allowed to post the full image now--recently, I made a piece for the Furries in the Kitchen zine! This was a super fun project to help with, and everyone else on the team was so talented!
If you would like to see the zine, you can get your copy here:
A furry-themed cookbook
If you like cooking/baking, artwork, writing, furries, or all of the above, I highly recommend checking it out!
All of my dnd characters I have ever played (up to this point)!
If you think that a lot of these look like Links, then you would be absolutely correct lol
Anyway, first up is Raven, an elf rogue who only lasted for two sessions before our group broke apart. Tragic, but thats how it goes
Next is Belle, the half elf half fey evocation wizard (that got turned into a harengon at some point)! Her design from the start of the campaign to the end went though a bit of a drastic change lol. I prefer the simplicity of her original design but her later design was still very fun
Tempest is a half elf swashbuckler rogue and he also had a lot of different designs, though whats shown is just "with his cool pirate coat" "without his cool pirate coat" "his cursed form he transforms into sometimes" and "how he looked at the end of the campaign when he got turned into a tabaxi and lost an arm" lol
Not is an android ranger/rogue and a bounty hunter and i am excited to see if his design changes during the course of our current scifi campaign
Mask is a changeling warlock sorcerer who I also dont know how he's going to change during our campaign yet, but Im sure there will be some inevitable changes at some point lol. He's Tempest's son but neither of them know that yet
Davey/Davian is an elf paladin and Tempest's older brother. I know for a fact his design is going to change considering the current trajectory of his character arc, hes definitely gonna follow his brothers footsteps and pick up some kind of transformation curse! I just dont know what kind yet :) apparently thats spoilers. Im so excited
Did a lot of digital art this week! Two of my dnd characters had an abrupt race change to a tabaxi and a harengon, so of course I had to draw them! And the third is a dnd character one of my friends plays in a space campaign we're both in, her name is Jester and she is SUCH a fun character
