A Simple Guide for DnD5e and a Space to talk about Tabletop Role-Playing Games.
Psst, guys. Wish me luck and read if you can, I’m really happy and I wanna build on this as much as I can ^^
Once a month I talk about more personal stuff. This month has a lot of overlapping issues. My continued plea is for everyone to please be kind to one another on YouTube as well as the rest of the Internet.
I’m going to etch it into stone around here somewhere: What works well at my table may not work well at yours and vice versa. It doesn’t mean anyone’s way of doing things in a game is any better or any worse than anyone else’s. As long as people are having fun, it’s okay.
Yes, You’re Meant for the TTRPG Hobby!
Please, have a positive attitude. Welcome new people into the TableTop RolePlaying Game hobby. Don't listen to the drama addicted talking heads on YouTube or the old guy in the back of the game store. Giet in there and have some fun!
I’m going to echo what has been said already by others. Photo by Daisa TJ on Pexels.com Yes, you’re in the right place. You’re here for Dungeons & Dragons night, right? Come in. Have a seat. Do you have a character yet? Okay, let’s roll up a character really quick. Roll these three ordinary six sided dice six times and write them down. What’d you end up with? The conversation continues on from…

Creature Feature: The Bulette (Wasp Bulette.)
The classic Dungeons & Dragons Bulette is one of my favorite monsters. Imagine a swarm of them with stingers. The Wasp Bulette is a listing from the Mutated Monsters book by Dice Dungeons LLC. So much monstrous goodness.
This fine specimen comes to us by way of Mutated Monsters from Dice Dungeons LLC. First, this variant on the standard Dungeons & Dragons Bulette comes to us from the Mutated Monsters book. I would like to take a chance to again thank the writers of Mutated Monsters for all of their efforts. My review can be found here. The book can be purchased via DriveThruRPG in PDF Format. [The regular…

Is He a Man? Is She a Woman?
WizKids and Wizards of the Coast have presented yet another big, shiny distraction this week. Meanwhile major changes to D&D Beyond and the announcement of a new SRD floated on through.
Is It Yet Another Manufactured Controversy by Wizards of the Coast. In all honesty, some of the absolute toxicity online these days has been caused by the one company that should be full of light and celebration from January 1st all the way through December 31st. What did they do instead? Disclaimer: Statements expressed in this article are strictly my opinion. If you disagree or have a…

The Silent “Nerfing” of Dungeons & Dragons Monsters.
Dalajking about some Old School. The player character get larger and larger while other com pany digs into whatever they can find.
There’s been an unsettling trend in D&D Monsters over the last three decades. Disclaimer: Statements expressed in this article are strictly my opinion. If you disagree or have a different opinion, that’s okay. I’m not an expert on everything. I’m not always right. I’m just writing from my experience as I know it. Your mileage may vary. Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition monsters were…

Flee Mortals! The MCDM Monster Book Review
A very big review for Flee, Mortals! The MCDM Monster book. I have been utterly fascinated with this book for some time now. I adds a lot to the D&D 5E game. Please have a look.
Produced by MCDM. Link to MCDM HERE. I’m fascinated with this book, but maybe not as much as I am by The Lazy DM’s Forge of Foes. The funny part is both books have a lot of talent in common with one another. Mike “Sly Flourish” Shea, Scott Fitzgerald Gray, and Teos Abadia worked on both. Other notables, among many designers, include Makenzie De Armas, Gabe Hicks, and Hannah Rose. The designers…
