The suffering was over: I finally started to enjoy working on this redraw, my pace quickened as well thanks to that. Everything just changed once I almost finished the lineart, and adding the colors even made me excited to see the end result as soon as possible. Although I wasn't as excited to draw animals :DD
The colors are from my previous redraw, I was (and still am) that satisfied with the palette, and I'm not planning to change it this year either. Though I definitely darkened her hair here (it should be much-much lighter), but color theory is a tricky bastard, so trust me - the rendering made it just the right shade and tone. You'll see :D
I was also started to work on her background a bit to make myself interested in drawing her again. I basically deleted everything that went down during her adventures, because I wasn't fond of those storylines and situations weren't handled very well. Probably the biggest change is how she'd lost her arm - originally it froze off for reasons I still can't understand. Now she is cursed. So much better, haha.
