I am not your little princess. I am still a fan of Game of Thrones even though I was disappointed with the last 2 seasons. I gave Season 7 a pass at first because I thought Season 8 would redeem it. It did not. Everything was too rushed and didn’t make logical sense in the end. The sad thing is it didn’t have to. Budget and time were not an issue. HBO and George R.R. Martin wanted more seasons. And HBO was willing to give more money. No shade to the actors or crew who continued to do the best until the very end! The direction, cinematography, costumes, acting and score are all among the best television has to offer. The fault is squarely on Benioff and Weiss. (And now they’re off to ruin Star Wars.🙃) But the first 6 seasons were amazing! When I rewatch I’ll probably just stop there. If the books are ever finished hopefully they’ll give the fans an ending we deserve.
