When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. I had a lot of fun cosplaying with my nieces and nephew! I was Cersei and they were Arya, Sansa, and Jon Snow. I am not your little princess. I am still a fan of Game of Thrones even though I was disappointed with the last 2 seasons. I gave Season 7 a pass at first because I thought Season 8 would redeem it. It did not. Everything was too rushed and didn’t make logical sense in the end. The sad thing is it didn’t have to. Budget and time were not an issue. HBO and George R.R. Martin wanted more seasons. And HBO was willing to give more money. No shade to the actors or crew who continued to do the best until the very end! The direction, cinematography, costumes, acting and score are all among the best television has to offer. The fault is squarely on Benioff and Weiss. (And now they’re off to ruin Star Wars.🙃) But the first 6 seasons were amazing! When I rewatch I’ll probably just stop there. If the books are ever finished hopefully they’ll give the fans an ending we deserve. My niece is visiting so I took them to the @att1powell to check out the Game of Thrones experience before they take it down. Even though this last season was disappointing this experience isn’t! 🤣 Sit on the Iron Throne and the VR and AR are fun! It’s free and anyone can go. This Daenerys Targaryen winter coat is my favorite outfit Daenerys wears. Her jackets this season are also 🔥 I’m not even a fur/faux fur/fur trim kind of person but this was my dream Daenerys cosplay. To actually be able to wear it and get to see the actual costume @emilia_clarke wore from the show at the @att1powell Game of Thrones experience is beyond amazing. Last nights episode 😬😱😳 I met this awesome Night King and Night Queen at the @att1powell Game of Thrones Celebration! I read this crazy theory where there was a Night Queen and she was a prisoner in Winterfell and that’s why a Stark always needed to be in Winterfell. And the “the north remembers” saying was about that except they obviously forgot. In the books it says Winterfell was built on a hot spring but it was icy cold by the weir wood tree and the pond by it was cold. It was also really cold in the crypts near the tree. Basically she was under the tree and that’s why Bran wanted to meet by the tree. So anyways once Theon removes the last Stark the spell was broken and that’s when the Night King started his move. Once the Night King gets her back the fighting stops. The things we do for love.
