i love when people are mediocre writers, goddamn awful at guitar, draw like they've never held a pencil before.

and they don't care. because they love to try, and love to do, and love to love doing things for the sake of doing them.

being bad at things is cool. not even in a "you have to be bad before you get good" way. Be bad at new things. Be bad at old things. Improve or don't. Either way, love every second of it.

i dont write to get better, i write because i love it. i don't play guitar to get better, i play guitar because i need to.

i sing because i cant live without it. sure, ive improved a lot over the years, but not once did i care. not once did i think "im going to keep doing this because and only because ill get better and then ill love it"

no. i kept at it because i didn't have a choice but to do what i loved. sure, i improved, but i would have kept singing regardless.

make bad art. sing a wrong note. write a shitty story. do it with your fucking heart, do it like you'll never get better.

Thanks to you , I decided to rewatch Ruby Gloom, especially since I've found the original dub from my childhood, and apparently, Skull Boy doesn't know his family?

Which kinda makes me wanna do an AU of your AU, where Skull was actually raised in the Witch Coven that Jackie was born in, as her brother, not knowing he is actually the heir to Halloween. Eventually both move to the mansion and after some shenanigans and angst, it would be eventually found out.

I just think it would be an interesting approach.
