Re Dracula/Dracula Daily

I looked back at the Renfield entries and Dracula seems to be taking his time in Whitby without any travel at all. Renfield goes into how he has worshipped him "long and afar off". I wonder if we'll ever learn how they met. Did Renfield travel before he was committed?

So Dracula definitely wasn't going back and forth.

I wonder when he'll make his way to Carfax? Is that why Lucy's feeling better? He's already gone?

...the next day, with Arthur Holmwood (Lucy's fiance)...

I spoke too soon. Lucy is still very poorly and Dracula is probably still there. Was her decline rapid? Did she simply leave her ailments out of her letter to Mina? Or is the usual up and down?

Regardless of the details, Arthur has done well to summon Dr. Jack Seward to her aid without distressing her mother. I do feel for Lucy being the last to know she'll soon lose her but with her own ill state it's definitely an understandable decision. He treated the doctor kindly in the latter too, despite his fear. We'll see how the visit goes.
