The ocean is nearly silent at most times, but fish do communicate with one another. Especially when you are feeding them, as being able to access food that was previously out of reach is extremely helpful. Sadly some of those fish inform sharks of your location. Which scares most divers but as a reminder. Sharks are fish, and as long as you take proper precautions they won't hurt you.
