I always think my communication with people I like is bad and then I'm sitting in a doctor's Office and can't be anything besides a completely normal person that never had a problem in xyr life.

Yes I've come here on my own free will to tell you about a problem. No I will not be honest about what it is and the faster I'm out of here the better!

I'm doing a mental health assisted course thingy and it's kinda neat to be in a setting surrounded by other similar mentally ill people.

Is this gonna make me actually open up? Probably not, but listening to someone else describe dealing with similar amounts of fear like I do might have cracked something.

Also kinda reminds me of the good parts of being at the psych ward.

Idk, maybe I should try group therapy after this

I had even looked forward to this cause I've been very stressed all week. Then that stupid discussion happened in the first ~10min and ok cool, these 3h are not gonna be helpful! ;_;

Thinking of @many-blogs as I have 2 psych-trained people push back on accepting "Fawn" as a fear response...because "our animal ancestors didn't talk"

MaDD not being a recognized thing(tm) is annoying cause....

Yeah I can talk about symptoms and how they affect me and all that obviously visible stuff (that I can also relate to other dx).

But also I'm not sure how to properly convey that the fictional people in my head had a convo about dinner choices while my psych was explaining med stuff right in front of me

Why is talking about mental health stuff so exhausting?

AvPD culture is wanting to confirm your self dx, but being unable to bring it up to your psych cause you keep avoiding making the list on why you are pretty sure you have AvPD
