44. Do they believe they are more in control or being controlled (by others, their circumstances or their life in general) and are they correct in their assumption?
For Céline, she definitely believes she's in control of her own life, especially after she took her family's life via planning their poisoning during a family dinner she finally joined and managing to stay innocent.. I would say she's 100% in control of her own life! The darkness didn't even need to control her in the first place to be real, she wanted an excuse to stop acting nice hshs
As for Eris, he believes he's still doing good in the name of the Dunlaps and the scientists or wtv by contiuing his research about the darkness and slashers, he also understands that he's being controlled and he's right, it's just that he's slightly scared to be of no more use to people who once saved him.. he feels obligated in a way to keep on researching.
For Amy, she's quite more paranoid than other MCs but she tries her best to hide it, she's barely in control but she puts up a front for others, she thinks she's in control but she isn't really.. but she's trying and determined!
Maria on the otherhand, understand she's being controlled, and she's right on that. Idk how else to explain her lowk
45. What is their fatal flaw?
Céline is exessively curious and manipulative.
Eris is narcisstic and arrogant, also a bit of a perfectionist too..
Amy is just too ambitious and slightly cowardly.
Maria is insincere and delusional.
50. If faced with a magical mirror revealing their deepest fear and greatest desire instead of their reflection, what would they see and would they be surprised by it?
(I'll do both the deepest fear and greatest desire because why not! :3c )
Céline's deepest fear is.. actually quite hard to imagine since she's rather fearless and would rather be someone's deepest fear ironically but her greatest desire? Peace and quiet. Just some little cottage in a grassy area, she'll probably be quite pleased to see that the mirror understands her to know her greatest desire.
Eris' deepest fear is him being not enough before being thrown out and treated like disposed of trash, thinking he failed to meet the criteria of perfectionism that the Dunlaps would see fit, he'd probably be that horrified too to see the outcome of his failures and see the consequences of said failures. His greatest desire however is quite blurred, but it seems to be Eris surrounded by people who acknowledge him and gis accomplishments, Eris himself would be surprised at seeing himself surrounded by people and not by the Dunlaps or Scientists themselves.. yet somehow, he seems to yearn for it.
Amy's deepest fear is losing her twin sister and father while she is unable to do anything but watch, her family have gone through many hardships together ever since her mother's death so of course losing her family would be her deepest fear, she'd probably get even more stressed and paranoid seeing the mirror display her deepest fear. Although her greatest desire is simply just seeing her family safe and sound. She'd be more than happy, grateful, joyful, just every positive emotion you can think of.
Now Maria's deepest fear would be hurting Amy, she actually never intended for Amy to get hurt, wanted to protect her and find ways to do so.. and when the mirror shows her dear twin sister hurt somewhere she can't find her, she's snapped out of her slight delusions and just stares in horror. Her greatest desire on the otherhand would be herself being able to hug her sister, being able to protect her and be there for her. She'd be delighted to see the mirror display her affection and love for her twin sister.
