November 3
Doc Frankenstein tells the story of Frankenstein's monster, who survived the events of Mary Shelley's novel and adopted his creator's name as his own (and earned doctoral degrees). Doc Frankenstein has since been involved in world history (flashbacks show him as a gunslinger in the Wild West, a soldier in World War II, a supporter of the teaching of evolution in 1925's Scopes Trial, and a supporter of Roe v. Wade in 1972). However, the extremely liberal viewpoints he espouses have made him a target of fundamentalists, who have sought to kill him over the years without success. The story begins in Doc Frankenstein #1 (November 3, 2004).

Read a comic by the wachowski sisters about Frankensteins creature being hunted down by christians for being an abomination and supporting abortion rights so I shouldn't have been surprised it got into the real history of the god being a huge dickhead and killing all the other gods while also going into how jesus was trained by fairies on how to use his abilities.
Found a couple comics of Doc Frankenstein written by the wachowski sisters before they came out. A story about Frankenstein learning what it means to be a person and fighting fascists? sign me up.
