hello! I discovered your Doc/Lightning fic this weekend and absolutely fell in love, the way you write them is beautiful and I have so many feelings, and somehow this pairing hits so many of my buttons 👀 I know you from a bunch of other fandoms (Hobbit, Merlin, etc) and I'm thrilled to start reading more of this pairing that you basically built from the ground up. Are you still writing Doc/Lightning currently or is it on the backburner for now?
Thank you so much! Thrilled those fics resonate, they are very dear to me <3 I am not writing the pairing currently, I'm mostly focusing on my original writing right now. I write fanfic almost exclusively for commission these days, but I did have someone commission me last year for a Doc/Lightning fic, so there's always a chance that could happen again! and I love the pairing a lot and am always willing to write them. And honestly I have been known to circle back to pairings I really love after years off, so although I cannot give you a specific time frame it's likely I will, someday, write them again.
Do you ever realise when you're reading a dead ship that maybe you should have started reading it early?
Like not just a few months but like a couple of years cause I'm reading a ship rn and and it use to be so popular in like 2023 but know it's like kinda dead and I can only read the same amount of fics so many times.
