A moment that always makes me laugh in 2x21 “Anatomy of a Lye” is when Grissom, Sara, and Doc Robbins are just so chill about using Ecklie’s Mercedes for an experiment.

Considering how much Ecklie HATED Grissom (and by extension the rest of the team, especially Sara) at the time, there is absolutely NO WAY he would have let them use his Mercedes for anything. Especially since it wasn’t even the same year or model they actually needed, and Grissom sure as hell wasn’t going to buy him a new one if there was any problem.

Clearly, Grissom decided to use it without asking.

So I picture Ecklie walking out of the lab, heading toward his car, only to find Grissom and Doc Robbins peering inside while Sara is lying on the hood. Ecklie would be like: “WHAT THE HELL, GUYS?!”

Also, can we talk about Sara’s smirk when she decides to lie on Ecklie’s car?

And can you imagine the talk between Sara and Grissom about all this?

Grissom: I found a car we can use to recreate the accident. Sara: Okay, let’s go. Grissom: It’s Ecklie’s car. Sara: Even better. Grissom: He doesn’t know about it, and we could get into trouble if he finds out. Sara: I already told you, I’m in.

I need someone to make a CSI core video because let me tell you, I have not ever laughed so hard watching a CRIME show of all things like the only videos I can find are like at least 6 years ago and at most 19 years ago.

Like you don’t understand, it’s not just the witty jokes, it’s the FUCKING SASS of Grissom, Brass, and Doc Robbins that is just top tier. Brass is by far the most underrated character in that show and I WISH more people got into CSI just as much as I have AGHHHH

Some thoughts on Nick Stokes.

I love CSI for showing a tough "man's man" from Texas who loves beer and football, but also regularly cries and shows a full range of emotions.

I see cop/crime dramas so often make the men steely and hardened and emotionless and immune to the horror they see.

I love that CSI actually show that the crimes really get to Nick. He cries. At crime scenes. At work. And he doesn't apologize for it. And his coworkers don't make fun of him for it.

I love it. I love it.
