One of my favorite characters in video games is Pulseman's dad cause he made love to his computer without any hesitation. And had a lovely android/human kid thing he then tried to murder with a gang of terrorists he put together, cause he went crazy from cyberspace and robot sex.

It's Doc Waruyama's birthday today!

Happy Birthday Doc!

So how old are you? Lessee, you're supposedly 39 as of 2015... so in this year, you would be 38-ish, considering how your b-day marks the end of the year.

Today is Doc Waruyama's birthday. While there's no given birthdate for Mr. Suzuhei Yoshiyama, the man who became Doc Waruyama, the date given for Waruyama's date of "birth" is December 31st, 1999. There was a lot of fear and anxiety surrounding this date in the mid- to late-90's, which had to do with the "Y2K Bug". People were afraid that computers with old time-calculating systems wouldn't be able to switch over to 2000 at midnight, and instead switch to 1900 or 19000, causing global chaos ranging from skyrocketing food prices to a malfunction in NORAD's nuclear defense technology. Thankfully everything got fixed before then and none of that happened. Instead we ended up with a crazy balding super-genius villain who tried to take over the world 15 years later. :) Happy Birthday, Doc Waruyama! To everyone else, Happy New Year! :D
