my love for kenshin was sadly not thriving due to his lack of recent (new) event stories, but hotaru's route has brought it right back up front, hell yea babey!!! and with the added bonus of an immensely adorable firefly 😍

Kenshin is so so good. The lack of new events for him did make me sad, but I knew I’d be happy to see him in Hotaru’s route. I just didn’t know it’d make me this happy!

Hotaru has already snatched up my heart too. I’m still in the happy part of the route, so I’m overwhelmed with lovey dovey feelings. I’m ready for the pain train.

ok so i don't play the arcana (and rn i don't have the energy to pick it up) but when it first came out and i saw asra i thought MMMMMMMMWAH *chefs kiss* that man looks like a delight. and now i get to see more of him, and learn a lil more about him, thanks to you!!

I am so glad! ^^ It’s always a nice day when you see more Asra lmao!! I hope you get around to playing at some point! This game has my favorite Otome plot of all that I’ve played. (I mean, SLBP aside but fav for very different reasons as one is more “historical” and Arcana is a fantasy of course). 

&&sry to my followers for my spurts of Arcana, pfft. Everything is so new to me so I am like drowning in content (happily) lol but like always, I’ll be caught up eventually and the Otomes will balance out again and it won’t just be like me manically shoving Asra’s in your face from 3-8am or whatever ahahaha.

i've commented a couple times on ao3 (as Anserine) (i should really interact more on tumblr) but i just wanted to tell you again how much i love vabverse! i love how much effort you've put into developing it and your understanding of jumin and v! 1/3

i recall when you made mc into nari (if i am recalling correctly), and she has really become her own character to me, not just another self insert mc (although i would totally love to be in that relationship but that's rambling for another time). 2/3

Yes! I remember your comments; I’ve read them so many times!

Just to be clear, my decision isn’t permanent and I will still be writing about V in the future. I’m just taking a hiatus because my motivation is at low levels. I've been writing V stuff since November of last year and I remember when there was practically nothing at all for him content-wise. I was so excited at the announcement of V route because of all of the new content I could not only see, but produce and have new readers to engage with. It’s actually been hugely disappointing, though, because before when I got little to no engagement before I always felt it was because there was less of a demand. Now that there is so much beautiful art everywhere with flailing in the tags et al, it’s no longer a question of the content not being wanted, but being ignored.

And I also want to make it clear that this decision has nothing to do with those who HAVE liked and reblogged my stuff and HAVE left me comments. You all are the reason I kept writing for so long and the reason this is only a hiatus.

I’m taking a step back because of people asking me for fics and content just to ignore it when I published it. Because of people who listened to me struggling over my work and said how excited they were to read it, only to say nothing once it was online. It’s because of people listening to me say I wanted comments about my work, only to mock me once they actually did. It’s about people who I’ve seen reblog art for days with endless tags but cannot take two seconds to click a button or say “i liked this”. It’s for the people who, months later, tell me how good of a writer I am, having never given me a single note when it actually mattered. 

I didn’t create all of this V content to be sassed and mostly ignored. People who hate on fanfiction are 10x louder and never hesitate.
