(for the agents scenario)
doc and cleo have been a thing for years, in secret, of course, their jobs don’t allow relationships like that to be stablished, but they wanted to be together and they’re also the most stubborn people in the world, so.
and they’re pretty good at keeping it secret, they have their own moments where they can meet up and sometimes even have some date, but then, a certain mission appears.
cleo is tasked to kill doc
and doc is tasked to kill cleo.
they’re both threats to their respective agencies, so of course they would send their best agents to kill eachother
and do they?? no!! of course not, but now this has turned into some sort of… “date” for them.
they start to plan how to “kill the other”, all with the idea that nothing would happen ever, all they had to do was act in time and know when the other would “try to get a shot”, it was hilarious for them, really.
“ah, can’t that doc guy just stay put!! i can’t shoot properly like this..” says cleo, a fake sigh coming out as she tells their team to leave it for ‘next time’
“damn cleo, they just had to decide to change their poisoned drink, probably smelled it, ugh.” groans doc, shaking his head with fake annoyance as he tells his team to leave before they’re seen.
and it goes on like that, its an easy loophole, they are technically doing their jobs! that they just so happen to fail every time is another story, who can blame them? they are the best agents in their own workplaces after all, of course they won’t be easy targets.
the whole situation really brings some fun conversations those times they can have some alone time.
If it ever becomes too much, they plan to simply fake killing each other and sail off into the sunset. They've more than earned their retirement!
