Wow, Anime Boston sounds awesome! A lot of people usually say cons have too much drama or something with the staffers so it's nice to hear positive things. C: I heard mixed reviews from some recent cons but I still want to try more! That's really rad of you to help your friend out. Is she going with you to any cons this year? I might take you up on trying to do more cons with your help. I'm trying to do another con before going back to school. @ u @ //need to continue in another ask
////My coworker literally just watched one season of the show. Most people I know who do like TWD only watch. But honestly it started as a comic so I was surprised he thought it was just zombie slashing. I like the game because it has story. If I want to play to kick zombie butt I can play Dead Rising. Plus twd game is really intense. It has quick time events so you can never really relax. I think that makes it great. I only watched my sister play the tail end of The Last of Us but there was definitely more people getting killed. Like as Ellie you kill at least 15 people. I didn’t get to play it yet but is it a good game? I heard mostly positive reviews. The gameplay looks good. And yes I didn’t get into TWD until about a year ago (I played the game over the summer). It was so good. I could not believe it. Then I read the first volume and Netflixed the show. Also //high five back!/////
Yeah i definitely agree with you, The Quicktime event system makes it still somewhat exciting and interactive but not overly difficult and very new player friendly which I think is absolutely excellent? If i had a good story to tell I would want it to reach every possible audience possible gamer and non gamers alike. And thats what i feel Telltale really does magnificently. People really cant judge the game in comparison to the show and comics because the story is COMPLETELY different. With different characters. Yes survival is important, but no two survivor uses the same methods and no two player plays the game the same way either. So the experience is really something else that takes geniuses to write.
I’d say the last of us is a great game. Storywise it’s okay, they coulda also done more with the supporting cast (Henry, Sam, Marlene and Tess, what they had planned with Tess could have been stunning), but the gameplay and graphics are gorgeous. I;d say its a good game to experience however? The game can get a bit draggy but the bit in Lincoln (and Bill) was my favorite part. That stage was stunning. Also the DLC was fantastic and fixed alot of issues about Ellie i originally had. (her character was seriously lacking in the game itself) And i really like her now.
Joel’s still a douche though.
YOOOO --- Gotta ask my girl and the rest of da gang: homura, sayaka, kyoko (yeahh she's the best obvi), Mami, Madoka, and Walpurgisnacht! And then just for interest: Kazusa Michiru and Kamijou Kyousuke. u wu
Ooooh boy.
Homura: What would you do to save someone you love?
Torture myself I guess, in true magical girl style
Kyousuke: What would you most hate to stop doing?
(assuming it's not something necessary/practical) Maybe singing/speaking - losing your vocal cords sounds awful and it's just so cathartic/expressive
Madoka: Do you consider yourself an optimist?
More on the realist-pessimist side, unless it's something/one I believe in? haha
Michiru: Would you save someone who didn't want to be saved?
Yes. They might not realize it, but deep down I think they do. They just don't know how. I think there are many such people worth saving.
Sayaka: Do you believe in the power of justice?
Oh ugh no. Legal systems and even the most well-intended moral codes fail very hard very often. The karma of the world doesn't work in equal shares. I think there should be justice, but it's tricky to find and should never be too closed-minded or absolute.
Kyouko: What is your most significant regret?
uuuuhHHH letting the voices get to me and losing track of any passions/hobbies I might have pursued. Being left talentless with limited time to follow them now.
Mami: What is your greatest fear?
(ignoring horror) disappointing myself with a mundane, joyless routine of a life?
Walpurgis Night: Do you enjoy being on stage?
Boy do I ever (masquearades and spotlight ftw, but only when I'm actually prepared/consciously confident in it)

The "C" Word
Friend: Do you remember when I told you I was talking to a girl in my art class
Friend: SHE SAID THE WORD "COSPLAY"
Friend: I THINK WE WERE BOTH TRYING NOT TO FREAK EACH OTHER OUT WITH NERDINESS
Friend: BECAUSE IT'S BEEN 8 WEEKS AND NOW I KNOW SHE IS INTERESTED IN IT
Even though being a good moirail means staying up til 3 when it's midterm studying weekend, it's still rewarding v u v She gives me fashion advice and motivational speeches, I give her friend advice and cosplay plans hehe Good trade off? <>
