The night before that first ED shift
Well it’s been a blur of a week between orientation and meeting up with friends before everyone starts being real doctors! I’ve been spending the week freaking out about what I’m gonna do tomorrow and hence spent the day trying to cram 5 years of knowledge into my face with questionable progress. I also went to church for the first time in weeks and was able to see my friends from bible study (shout-out to all you peeps!) and spend some time with another bible study group I may join in the future. I’m really grateful with this actually because it’s helped my reorient my life to what I really should be focused on, it’s the perfect event to cap off orientation week. So I’m gonna go do a bit more study then sleep and just gonna leave everything up to Him. G’night and good luck to all you guys who’re going through the same thing!
