VSG surgery!
Hi everyone!
I'm Hailey, and I had VSG surgery on December 13, 2022. When starting my weight loss Journey in September of 2022 I was 250 pounds exactly. On the day of surgery I was down to 217, and today I am down to 176. Are there any other sleevers on here? I would love to make some friends!
I am also 25, I have 2 kiddos, a husband, and a German Shepherd puppy.
Hi! My name is Chloe Morgan and I’m from Ireland. In the past year, my li… Chloe Morgan needs your support for Reconstructive Surgery after
I’ve never done this, and I feel very shy about it- if I’m honest.
This past year has been eventful for me, to say the least. I’m at the end of my weight loss journey now that I’m pretty much at target weight and I’m left with all the loose skin from years of being morbidly obese and abusing my body. My confidence and body dysmorphia because of this really affects me, both mentally and physically.
After taking my life back and working so hard to get to where I am now, I’m still left a slave to my body once again and am ashamed and embarrassed of my loose skin. The loose skin causes health issues like rashes and infections as well as ruining my confidence.
Some people suggested making a gofundme, as paying €8k for this surgery isn’t possible for me right now. I decided, what’s the harm? And made it. I’m not expecting anything, but if you could even just share this that would be amazing.
Thank you all for being on this weight loss journey with me and being so so supportive.
I appreciate every one of you💖
If anyone donates, just know I appreciate you so much
5 Eating Tips After Bariatric Surgery For Longterm SuccessThese tips still work for me, being 6 years post op.I also included a bonus tip.#b
This is what losing 105lbs has brought me to. I’m never going to have the Instagram, skinny, perfect body. 105lbs leaves it’s mark. There’s beauty to be found in that though. The love I have for myself and the amazing life I live outside of the shell I was hiding in is magical ❤️
28 Days Until Gastric Sleeve Surgery;
Liquid diet again. Lemonade to drink and bone broth for meals.
Homemade Bone Broth Recipe
Get meat with bones in it.
Put in crock pot with broth or water
Use veggies or fruit to season.
Cook for 8 hours so a lot of the bone tissue softens and breaks down.
Remove meat, veggies/fruit and eat as much as you want!
I got a message to my dietitian to get her documentation over to the surgeon.
I’ve done all I can. All my doctors have releases and I will swamp my insurance with documentation.
Progress. Post op 3 months. #bariatricsurgery #me #progress #gastricsleeve (at Seattle, Washington) https://www.instagram.com/p/CanPeYsvu5F/?utm_medium=tumblr
